For star gazers, I read earlier that Jupiter and Venus(?) will appear almost aligned tonight (though millions of miles apart, obviously). Stupid question - are the brightest stars that you can see in the sky the planets nearest to us? I do have Star Chart app but cannot make sense of it
.
If I look W/NW 283 degrees now there is a really bright star and another smaller one snow it to the left - is that it?
Many thanks

:hello: Evening all!
Too late now, but if you use chrome than reopen last tab (ctrl+shift+t) usually restores otherwise lost posts.
And.... according to HUKD...
Strawberries 500g £1.00 @ FarmFoods
Might be worth popping in if passing by (or organising so you will indeed pass by );).
Thanks. I knew someone would beat my hellish prices again:rotfl: - supermarkets are just way expensive places to shop!TrulyMadly wrote: »Unsure TS
It was a large store. For the NE cheese hunters it was P....lee:)
A girl next to me picked up the 350g which was on offer for £2.
I showed her mine and said that she could have nearly half as much again for 50p less. But she said she preferred the 350g one.....same cheese.
I've come to the conclusion that it's psychological.
I think if I said to someone"oh look at this. What do you think?"
Then they might think they've discovered it and actually buy it:rotfl:
Don't think people like a smart a..e shopper:rotfl:
:wall:
Obviously wants to spend more money (and get less - now, that one I just do not understand. Even if you throw away the extra x number of gs, you still pay 50p less... Maybe they don't want to 'throw away' stuff and don't like waste? But still makes no sense to me, as cheese can be frozen... but otherwise a case of supermarkets encouraging waste).0 -
