Its rained every time ive been there in the last 20 years!

OH worked there for a while in the late 90's and used to commute back at weekends ...he shares the same view.

Ds1 was really impressed with the uni and the course he wants to take...its just a case of getting the results next year in his A levels.

As yet he doesnt have much of a fallback plan or other unis he's that interested in studying at although we will be going to a few more open days at the beginning of Sept.

according to this website at least 53% of the year but that was a very good year - apparently you learn to ignore it

Good afternoon everybody. Just got back from Southend!

Do you recall I said my freezer had conked? Got the engineer coming out to it tomorrow, but I am amazed that everything is still frozen in there! Temperature is still well below zero! I am so glad I got the one I did! And I am glad I got it from John Lewis - another trick I learned from The Elite.:D. Meant I did not even have to argue about the guarantee.

does it have a temp gauge? ours has a LED on the door and its set at minus 19 degrees - youngest son said that the hotel freezers are set at this temp
our fridge is 3 degrees - possibly a bit cold, nothing ever goes off in it :rotfl:
