Thank you tweets, I weighed myself this morning and I have lost TWO POUNDS this week yay!!!!! It is not much I know but it is a start and it has given me the willpower to do even better. I think where I normally go wrong is weighing myself daily and one day you lose a pound and next day you put two on so I have been good and done a Monday to Monday weigh in
    Morning all.....x

Well done :T:T:T 2lbs is a lot . Go and find something that weighs same amount and pick it up ;)

This is going to be an interesting spectacle.

Huge articulated truck has just gone down our lane, turned and then parked outside the house - united utilities are obsessed with a drain a bit further down and are always investigating it - sending men out with trucks and cones and pipes etc.

so our lane is now effectively one way.
Our main road is still shut to traffic so our road is being used as a rat run to get into town - mostly by cars who don't know the speed restrictions and stamp on their brakes as they suddenly come up against next doors 4 x 4 when he parks outside.
And other articulated trucks who ignore the weight restriction signs at either end and who wont realise there is not enough room for 2 trucks to pass safely.
And the school run traffic will start in half an hour ...

does it have a temp gauge? ours has a LED on the door and its set at minus 19 degrees - youngest son said that the hotel freezers are set at this temp
our fridge is 3 degrees - possibly a bit cold, nothing ever goes off in it :rotfl:

No temperature guage, but a thermometer visible the moment I open it, keep it at minus 20 degrees which is about half way round on the control so I dread to think how low it can go!

As for our fridge, it seems to be set on a little above freezing.. I don't know if it would be classed as a fault actually but I like it, that is on the warmest setting! It has to go up (down?) a notch when it gets warm but that is about it. It doesn't actually freeze anything but things have to be in there a long time to go off. Just threw out the end of one of those Innocent pink drinks, it had been open a while and was dated 3rd June, and it had not so much gone off as gone thin!

Right, I'm off to get the makings of a Victoria sandwich, we have strawberries and will have stiffly whipped cream, those things go together quite well:D

Sorry to hear that. Any particular reason or was it the Monday morning blues? Have a hug whatever the reason...x
