Rather than cancelling the test, can you get another car for the test ?

Driving instructors tend to have similar choices in cars.

I've been on the phone to the driving school...they dont have anything they can offer...it seems that whilst all the instructors operate under the banner of the school they are all self employed and there isnt another similar car owned by any of the instructors...it was always a bit of a selling point for us when we chose the driving school because they were the only one that offered lessons in this one particular car....

    Good morning:wave:

Just a flying visit to say hello, it's been a manic weekend and my diary is full this week. I've even had to do a none glitchy h/d for food as I've no idea what's glitchy and what's not:(

I'm also trying to find a decent holiday destination for us this year somewhere like Spain, 3 hr flight max. Not a long transfer from the airport to the hotel and not too busy!!
First time overseas with the monkeys and I want it to be as stress free as possible. So far I've drawn a blank:(
I did find a 4 star hotel but reviews of people being ill as recent as last week certainly crossed that one of my list.

Has anyone ever been to Salou, Malaga that they could recommend or indeed anywhere in Majorca that's not overly busy please?

I'm pretty nervous about the idea of taking them to be honest, too many horror stories floating around but we can't always be in bubble wrap can we? Else what's the point of it all????

Jobs to do now:( I will sneak back in a bit;)

Hi, we went to the Salou Princess in Salou about 10 years ago for approx. £400 AI with last minute.com, one of the best hotels I've stayed in, fairly quiet area, food was fantastic, very well presented :)

shame that he cant have a few lessons in another car before the test, that he could then use for the test ds2 car was swapped before his test for a different one last week and he still passed

Shopitize is quite frustrating. Sometimes torn/dirty and generally crap receipts work 1st time no problem ad other times absolute mint receipts take 2/3 goes and still need reporting grrrr......

Its rained every time ive been there in the last 20 years!

OH worked there for a while in the late 90's and used to commute back at weekends ...he shares the same view.

Ds1 was really impressed with the uni and the course he wants to take...its just a case of getting the results next year in his A levels.

As yet he doesnt have much of a fallback plan or other unis he's that interested in studying at although we will be going to a few more open days at the beginning of Sept.
