Good afternoon ..you and me both Nerfy I am having new Boiler fitted next week :TTiny I think you need to go for a new to you one and don't waste your money on repairs which could last a while but eventually you will have to replace it:(
Thanks Nanny, I know once the bodywork of a car has gone it's not good. I even had another engine put in my old escort as the bodywork was still ok.
I just don't like the process of getting a new one and getting all the insurance sorted etc. I am in a lucky position that I can afford something else that is not a worry that it would be for a lot of other people.
Really kicking myself for not buying DD1's golf last month when her BF started his new job in London they didn't need 2 cars anymore they let it go so cheaply in the end.
Anyone any thoughts on Vauxhall Corsa's?0 -

Can't wait Nerfy I know mine has not been running efficiently for a couple of years ...think it's past it's sell by date:eek:
I can't believe how much my bills went down since I had my new boiler, I had a £270 refund from Scottish power in April which was just over a year since having it fitted. I did have to chase them for it as it wasn't my yearly statement time. But I could see credit building and waited until after the winter bill.0 -

Thanks cjj, that is a big help I have stayed loyal to Ford over the years no idea why.
I always think British makes are cheaper to get parts for but must admit Mr TS has a little citroen and that is 1999 and it passed without any problems this year. Don't think we have spent huge amount on it either. It was DD1's first car and we bought if off of her.0 -
