Oh dear!!! thanks heavens you are not Ops manager then!!!! ( or mine)~!~

My advice would be to counter claim against the ma nager. Go and see a solicitor and ge tthem to act for you. A letter needs to be sent to the head office stating clearly the things that you were asked to do which were wrong (and would make good healines in the press), and stating that unless they supply some sort of confirmation that you did not diliberately lose your job but were under huge provocation etc etc from a very unprofessional manager. You could also go to jobcentre where claim was made and explain all of this to them. There were mitigating circumstances here and the jobcentre should not just take the employers word for it. tell head office you are making an offical complaint and unless they play ball you will go public. Sounds like a case for bullying and harrasment to me. Dont stand for it, esp as it leaves you up the creak without a paddle. get legal advice quickley and get that bully investigated.

Without concrete proof nothing at all will happen to the manager. Having been sacked for gross misconduct anything the OP reports to the press (if they are even vaguely interested) will sound like sour grapes. Best to put it behind you, sign on a few agencies, take any work you can find.

If you have no income you will be able to claim Income Support.

Even if you were ill now, you would not be able to claim Incapacity Benefit. This is a benefit which follows on after you have been on Statutory Sick Pay for six months.

But the JSA sanctions are put in place for a reason - to stop people walking out of perfectly acceptable jobs willy nilly and instantly claiming benefits.

As far as I know they dont stop that, he didnt walk out of the job he was dismissed. Whilst can someone quitting a job then claim JSA?

Going with the swearing thing, my manager should have been sacked more than a few times by now - he's sworn at most of us on the floor, I told him off for sticking the Vs when saying "2" to me.

It's ok for your manager to cut your arm off then pour salt on the wound but don't start moaning if he sacks you for swearing because thats gross misconduct.

    Your the one being abusive.

Either you can't read or you use a different dictionary to the rest of us!

If you have a Benefits question, then please start a new thread. If you are able to do so without using offensive language, people will be more than happy to help.

Someone should report you for being an irritating low life scum bag.

Just quoting your post in case you decide to delete them!

As noted previously, if you need Benefits advice then please start a new thread.
