I've just got back from food shopping at Morrisons and am having a New York Cinnamon & Raisin bagel for my lunch
Need to get to the fruit and veg place soon, but will sit down for 30 mins first.
All of your LTW's sound lovely! Well done, keep at it!0 -

WTBSE how frustrating (and painful) for your son.Sorry, but what is HMS?
The Only Girl what are easy peelers?0 -
Marmite, they are citrus fruits, the same size as clementines, tangerines and satsumas that are easy to peel, perfect for children, I usually buy them to encourage my hungry hippos to eat fruits. My OH is the worst when it comes to eating fruits - he won't eat anything that is difficult to peel. In the earlier stages of our marriage, I had to peel the oranges and hand them to him in bit sized portions. Honestly he is the biggest-sized baby in this household. With easy peelers, I have no such problems."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150

Ah,I did suddenly occur to me that it might be satsumas etc.
Today's brunch is probably yogurt and stewed apples and stewed rhubarb again.
The stewed apples only have cinnamon and some water in,so doesn't keep too long.
I am aware that I tend to eat a lot of the same thing though.0 -
Marmite, HMS is Hyper Mobility Syndrome.
Lunch today is a mix of loads. I am hosting a Vegan Potluck and about 10 people are attending. I've only met 1 of them, so I am looking forward to getting to know loads of new people
I am taking Quinoa and Black Bean salad, chopped fruit, drinks, crisps and some chocolate. Everyone has to bring something, so i am excited to try out some new food0 -
Thanks WTBSE.Seems obvious now...I hope that your DS is feeling better.
Good luck with your Vegan Potluck gathering. The salad sounds nice.Is that black eyed beans?I've only ever used them in mushroom and black eyed bean curry.0 -
Here is a photo of it. Marmite, it is using black turtle beans. You can get them dried or in tins, although they are quite expensive (unless you buy them from Sainsburys, who do them cheaper than anywhere else apart from Ethnic stores).0

Looks very tasty.
I've never even heard of turtle beans.Must look that up.0 -
Hi! I'd like to join please. I'm really bad at buying 'deals' for lunch and the occasional breakfast, and ooo, don't forget the vending machine, so this could help me make a real saving. I'd like to aim for 12 for the rest of June - give myself a few days leeway whilst I get in the habit.#13 Make 2023 in 2023 - £2085.20/£2023#23 Save £8k in 2023 - £6642.66/£80000
