Anyone dealt with Germania?

1. Had an acknowledgement from ECC of receipt of my complaint.
2. More surprisingly had a response from the Greek aviation enclosing a letter (in English)they've sent to Germania! It asks Germania to inform them of the reason for the delay and "provide proof documenting (technical log book) extraordinary circumstances", adding that technical reasons are not normally extraordinary circumstances. Failing that it tells them to pay me the 400 euros plus expenses for refreshments. It asks for an answer as soon as possible
Surprised but delighted the Greeks have acted so quickly! I will fwd their letter to ECC0 -

we phoned ECC this morning (they were closed all day yesterday for training) & they said to leave it the 14 days until next tuesday before doing anything, but to contact ECC then if we hadn't had a reply (obviously we got a different person than you) we were given a ref.no. & they said they would take all the details next Tuesday & contact Germania & ECC's own contact in Germany. so we will wait till then & let you know further but we think you are progressing much faster.0 -
2013Archers: I've sent you a pm0

kuepper, we phoned ECC again today spoke to a different person from last week & were advised as you were, to contact Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. we put "Could you please request from Germania Airways the reason for the delay of their Flight No. ST4639 on 29 May 2015 from Skiathos to Manchester. We have e-mailed Germania twice but have not had any response."
We have also sent copies of our documents to the ECC as they suggested.
Have you had any response yet ?0 -

No, nothing yet. Don't expect anything to happen soon from now on. Didn't you send the ECC's pro forma to the Greeks?0 -

If that's what you were told to do I wouldn't worry about it. They never mentioned the Greek website to me, just told me to send the Greeks the completed pdf file you pm'd me about that there's a link to on the ECC and mse websites.0 -
Received update from ECC, reads like a proforma but the key element is that they've passed it on to Germany consumer body:
Thank you for providing the information/documentation as requested. This has been attached to your case on our database and referred to the European Consumer Centre in the trader’s country...
.....Now that your case has been passed on to our counterparts we will aim to keep you informed on the progress of your case every calendar month, but during busy periods this may take a little longer. Please be assured that we will update you as soon as we can.0 -

Hi Kuepper
Received email today from ECC
"I am writing to you from the UK European Consumer Centre (UK ECC) to provide you with an update on your case against Germania.
On the 16 July 2015 your case was shared with the European Consumer Centre in Germany. I can confirm that your case has been accepted and assigned to a case handler.
So far we have no new developments to report on your case.
The European Consumer Centre network will continue to work on your behalf to attempt to resolve your case and we will contact you within a further 30 days to advise you of any progress made"
so, it looks like we might have a good case0 -
