  • Hi Revolute,

I have emailed your support address but have not yet received a reply. I have a Google Nexus 7 running Android Version 5.1.1. When I try to download the app from your site, I get the message “This app is incompatible with all of your devices”. Why is this the case when I have the latest Android version? I want to start using your services as soon as possible.

I can recommend the Revolut card. I recently used it on a trip to Portugal. The app is easy to use and the actual card arrived within three days. When you pay using the card you get a notification, via the app, almost immediately. The exchange rate, for Euros anyway, is good and there is no charge for withdrawing money from ATM's

If you're trying to contact Revoult this is the wrong place to do it. Try the Revolut website.
  • Lots of people have succeeded in getting a response from the Revolut representative on this forum. Why should I not try, especially as I am not getting any response from their website?
  • I've been using the Revolut card and quite happy with it.

I recommended it my gf and she has been using it in Budapest whilst away studying. Unfortunately she's hit the limit whereby she can add no new money without verifying her identity. When she tries to verify her identity the app crashes. No one from Revolut is answering her questions on the app.

It's probably best therefore not to rely on this card completely as the support can be non existent - you might end up left in a difficult situation. When it works though, it is terrific.
  • Hello, Just got back from Chicago, was a bit wary using a Pre Paid card so I thought I would give Revolut a go, Absolutely brilliant no problems at all, I will be defiantly using my card again.
  • ANDROID NOT SUPPORTED

Have just received a reply from Revolut to say that they do not support Android tablets at the moment. That's a pity because I would have enrolled as a customer straight away. There must be a lot of disappointed people around, especially as the Revolut app is is available on Google Play.
  • Superb on Android phone (Samsung) even managed to sort out identity proof as middle aged female non mega teccy lady. Card was initially slow to arrive but since being great. Speed of updates on balances on phone when use card very impressive.
  • As far as pre-paid cards go I only use Kalixa (for spending only - not ATM's) and have done for a few years now. I like the text message (usually instant) everytime I use it giving me my purchase details and balance. Since I got if for free, it costs me nothing and I get an almost unbeatable exchange rate I see no down side especially outside Europe.
Turning left avoids some of the idiots (only some)
  • I find all this very confusing :(

Is a pre-paid card as simple as transferring cash from my current bank account onto a pre-paid card, so, if I transfer £100.00, I have £100.00 to spend on a pre-paid card with no further charges.

if I need to top up whilst abroad, I just transfer from my bank account onto the pre-paid card.

Is a pre-paid card the same as using a debit card, just hand it over to pay make purchase.

Off to Spain soon, if I have any money left on the card, can if use the card when in Mumbai early next year?

I want to avoid any monthly / annual, low balance charges / top up charges.

So, after all that, what's the best pre-paid card please?
