Are you a member of swapits?

    http://www.swapitshop.com

My son wanted an x-box 360, so he 'swapped' all the things he didn't want until he got enough points to bid for one. It's a good idea to swap things that are light to post and small, as you have to pay the postage and it can add up. When my son ran out of things to swap he used his pocket money to buy things from car boots to swap. Things like collectable cards and keyrings for example. It took him about 4 months in total, and cost about £50 in postage and stock, so much cheaper than buying one for cash. It does of course depend on a person listing a wii, for the points you have. Either way it was good fun for my son and he enjoyed the challenge!

You should try doing the clicks on quidco, off the top of my head you canp get 56p a day for 5mins work and if you dont spend any of that for a whole year, you will get £204, take a few days out of that for when you couldnt be bothered and you will be down to £179, then you could buy the wii through quidco and get some cash back (well, your parents could buy it through quidco, and use their bank info to get the money out.

    Just my 2 pence

  • Before I went to university, for a long time I repaired peoples computers. You said that you are good at computers, is this just software wise or do you know a lot about hardware as well. I did things like fitting in more memory or making peoples computers run faster (defragmenting, uninstalling junk, removing viruses and trojans, etc). I could earn 20-30 quid from doing a job for one of my parents friends easily and they tended to come back to me again when they were having other problems later on.

What do you mean by this? I'm a bit confused. 'The clicks'? Other buying stuff from the merchants I can't see what you mean....

Edit: Computertec http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=536055 under 16's competition for a wii. chances are slim i guess, but worth a whirl!
