Thanks!, I need a direct Email for the Essex Chronical though

You should be able to find it in the paper somewhere, normally near the front. Its probably better to phone them though, I emailed my local newspaper about a job and they never got back to me then when I phoned they had one for me straight away.

If you have a free paper in your area, get in touch with your local distributor's agent to say you're interested, there is sometimes a waiting list. You could also express interest at the local newsagent so that there is a job waiting for you. Also if you have a local paid for paper, they sometimes do direct deliveries and that can be more lucrative than the newsagent / free paper (and less hassle than the latter because you don't have to stuff it with all the leaflets!) and it may be afternoon deliveries if you're not an early riser!

Free papers don't tend to pay very well and you have to do a lot of work for that small amount.

When I was younger I did a round for my local shop. Was originally 7 days a week and got about £20 for it. Then it got really big and I split it with some guy on a Sunday and ended up doing 6 days a week for a bit. And got £25 some weeks, but another £5 for doing one round.

When I was 14/15 it seemed like loads of money till I could get a job in a shop when I was 16. Strangely I prefered the mornings, even though it was hard to get out of bed. No need to rush home from school to do it.

also delivering leaflets can be ok pays £5 an hour but easy job. Esprecially if it can be combined with paper-round/free paper deliveries

I don't know about essex specifically but you could try local takeaway places. I seem to be always getting leaflets from these places.

Hiya, I like your style and I'm sure you'll have that wii in no time at all. :D A lady round the corner from me had a virus on her computer and paid someone to come out and sort it for her. Maybe if you can sort problems like this, you could let your neighbours know and earn a few quid that way.

It's great that you're so determined to make the money for the Wii. I'm sure some the suggestions you've had so far will be useful.

Do be careful about taking on any actual paid employment. Here's information about the legal rules on young people being employed.
