Onomatopoeia, I read your post to WaSp and he agrees with you totally. When he meets his male friends even if one is having a hard time they will simply skirt over it and then the conversation will turn onto other things. None of them speak about their emotions in detail. They may moan for a minute and say their wives are giving them a hard time but that is as far as it ever goes. He said when he met me he had to learn about to how to become a soppy flower (he's joking, I think!). He also said that if he looks like he's sulking when I talk to him its not that, it's because he feels like a deer in the headlights because he doesn't really know how to do these conversations. His instincts say you are a man, tough it out! Not sit and talk about it, so he feels very awkward and as if he has no idea what he's doing. It is interesting to hear a man's perspective, WaSp ended by repeating if he is silent he's not sulking, he's terrified!

Oh, and he is very interested in the bit about a racing car! Huge F1 fan!

    Afternoon my lovelies,

had a good day spent about £20 but it seems more. As I had some credit so bought a couple of games and dvd's.

Also bought a half dead plant for £2 and some more foundation but had a love to shop voucher so only cost me £1.98.

My free trees arrived. Uk mail told me between 1.32 and 2.32. I arrive hone about 12.45 and they were leaving the road having left the trees across the road with a neighbour

They need bigger pots and I needed some compost so hence a trip to asda :rotfl:

B & M had crabbies alcoholic lemonade for £2.49 for 4 x 330ml. As I like hooch yes I remember it 1st time around. And two dogs and there loads of others as well.

Need to think about tea but thats ok as I have cooked chicken so might have a salad. See how I feel a little later on LOL!!!

Might do some decorating tomorrow. Who knows the secret of the black magic box. And all because the lady loves milk tray

Not sure what I will do this evening. maybe a film and some x-stitch. Who knows.

    Yours

    Calley

I may have to go and be cross with my neighbours. Someone has nicked a load of firewood from the front of the house - can't prove it, but I'm fairly sure I know who it is as I've caught them leaning over my fence to take stuff from the garden once before. And weren't in the slightest bit embarrassed to be caught in the act.

My friend reckons I'm an honorary bloke. Not only do I not talk about my feelings, or do all that huggy stuff, I have no difficulty at all walking past things at the bottom of the stairs waiting to be taken up.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

My neighbours have been hell Saturday was horrific not only noisy from 7.50am till 6.30am (started again at 7.50am) but weird, knocked my door (ignored) stared out the windows at me, barked outside my front door and out the windows?

That sounds like an absolute nightmare Melly :( One of our neighbours might be totally miserable, but at least they don't cause any trouble, I imagine it's so hard having to put up with that day in day out.

Elsien, I'm guilty of that one myself....passing stuff on the stairs! I'm quite girly in a lot of ways and like to talk things through, but I've always been abit of a tomboy, and prefer the company of males a lot of the time. Probably because they'll have a game of pool or darts with me and don't tend to be drama queens (well apart from D that is!) lol! Growing up, the women all wanted to sit around drinking tea and gossiping, whilst the mens activities were always a lot more fun!
