  • Exactly as Pyxis said, Georgie. He will have known. Your love for him pours through in every post and he will have felt that. I bet he thought the world of you and was so proud that you were his daughter just as you were proud to have him as your dad.

Best rescue dog, of course. :D
(There was also a class for dogs that have never won a rosette that was next on our hitlist if all else failed.) I do feel obliged to point out that he didn't come first, I'm just ridiculously overexcited that he didn't eat the judge or any of the other candidates and got placed at all.

Thanks again all. Your wishes & pics are much appreciated.
The family have just gone, they each brought a cake so the ones I prepared have not even been cut (but the night is young!). We have had a lovely afternoon, I knew it was daft to feel low when I am lucky enough to have family who care, who have brought me chocs, flowers & cake, lots of good things to be grateful for. But as you lot know, you can't always produce the mood that the occasion calls for.

Bless you all. :) Deep down I know that, but sometimes you just wish you'd said certain things more often.

Glad you had a good day SJ!

What colour were your Maine Coons WaS? Mine is a handsome ginger gentleman.

This afternoon I went to an open garden. Visitors were allowed to use the gardeners toilet, where there was a note entreating us to "Flush the toilet THOROUGHLY"

    Hello everyone

I'm TRYING to penguin, so I hope I get it right..

I'm estranged from my parents and had a difficult. I'm still coming to terms with it. I occasionally text my father, he replies but never instigates contact. Haven't seen him for nearly four years. Last time was strained and awful, left me feeling pretty worthless. I find fathers/mothers day so grim. I thought about sending a card but none of them seem appropriate.

Your teacher friend sounds wonderful WAS. You must be so precious to him. That cheered me up.

Git dog made me smile to. I'm a bit scared of dogs but that expression is human! He looks so chuffed! Ah.
