I bathed the cat today. Only two claw marks on my arm! He looks very pretty and fluffy, but doesn't seem pleased with his new glamour.

I do love that about this thread, JM. Before this my life was mainly focused on my mental health, I didn't have anyone to discuss the ordinary everyday things with. It makes me feel far more grounded to be able to talk about other things and I feel not so removed from others lives. I also love how supportive everyone is when someone is having mental health problems. Although we talk about so many subjects everyone is also ready to listen if someone is suffering and offer support and understanding. We have struck a wonderful balance.

The dog ate my flppin knitting!!
And one of my knitting needles!!

Wasn't having the best day anyway, but if I end up having to retrieve said knitting when he goes to the toilet I shall not be happy!

I was out with parent today, and on meeting a friend parent happily informed them she and I are going dogging tomorrow.:eek:
Now wondering what she knows about the event that I don't.

I've been awake since 2am, and went for a 2 mile walk at 4.30. It was lovely - misty and fresh, with lots of bunnies lolloping about, but I'd rather have been asleep. I always make a point of not sleeping during the day, but it's looking a long time till bed.

Katy - dd he actually eat the needle, or just chew it?

"A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and they were afraid she might not recover. Stoodles, whilst 4.30am is a bit early, it's such a lovely time to be outdoors! I always think about going to the Stone Circle at Keswick or to some nearby mountain just as the sun is coming up, it's meant to be beautiful! My cousin still camps out, but I love my bed too much! Oh, and by the way, if you're not too attached to your fingers, would you bath my cat too?

WaS, meant to say yesterday, your teacher friend sounds lovely. Such a fantastic person to have in your life.

Dog is fine thank you, he didn't swallow the knitting needle just chewed through it. Little horror has enough sense to cause maximum damage without putting himself at risk.

He ate an asda carrier bag once and pooped it handles first. Vet said it was less likely to have tangled round anything important that way, no idea why!
