    Evening my lovelies,

its been quiet in here today. Must be the weather. I have had a really a great day. Done nothing exciting.

Ran some errands, saw my nephews this afternoon. And until 10 mins ago have been in the garden reading and listening to the bees. I have a calfornia lilac which attracts bees. OMG the size of some of those bumble bees. Big massive plump fat bumble bees full to the brim with pollen. Not sure how they manage to fly.

has made me realise how much there is out there. And life is good.

Even though I was let down today by someone who was suppose to come and see me tonight, As their work got in the way. I am like ok. Maybe tomorrow. Normally I would have flown in to a rage and got really arsey about them messing me about. But not today!!!!

I am really tired not sure why. Might be due due to sleeping well. I was out the door at 7am off on walk this morning  I know very shocking :rotfl:

    Yours

    Calley

  • What a good day Calley! I love bumble bees! Sometimes quiet and contented days can be far more uplifting than exciting, action packed ones.

What am I like? I left the house a 6.30 a.m., got to where I was going, then realised I'd left my phone at home. And needed it, as someone was going to ring me at 8.30. So I dashed back home, but couldn't find it. Then realised I'd put it in the leg pocket of my trousers! So I'd had it all the time!

Got back to the place, went up 2 flights, then realised I'd left my handbag in the car. So rushed back down to get it.

Then wanted to get something else from the car, so down I go again.....but I'd left the car keys upstairs! So back up, then down again!

Maybe this is my brain's way of telling me I need more exercise! Fair enough, really, as due to my appointment, I had to miss a Zumba!

calley - I love bumblebees. They're just so cute and fuzzy. The other day, I had the front door open and a bee flew onto the frame and I waited until it left so I didn't hurt or scare it.

This warm weather is a blessing and a curse. It's lovely to be out in the sun, but I am practically transparent (did anyone play Theme Hospital? I'm like the guys that lick yoghurt tops in that). DA dog doesn't do well in the heat because he's double coated. And insects try to move into my house or eat me. I don't chase them all out as I feel some of them can feed the resident spiders.

Best if I don't mention what I've eaten today either. Today has not been a day of restraint, more like "if this isn't nailed down, I'm eating it."

  • You have earned it, Pyxis! Have some more.

I used to love Theme Hospital, code. I am pretty transparent myself and after one day of forgetting my factor 50 lotion am now peeling.

Sounds like we are all having a treat day, ice cream with sprinkles is dinner, honest.

  • Look what I found! I wonder if I can persuade WaSp to allow me to have a new cuddly? (I did bring 7 home from my holiday).

  • I agree! They have lots on Amazon! Now just to persuade WaSp. He took a photo of me two nights ago, fast asleep with a cuddly penguin snuggled under my chin, just to show me how sad I really am...
