Evening my lovelies,
Last couple of days have been really good.
Someone was suppose to come and look at give me a quote about cleaning and fixing my guttering this afternoon. They never turned up. Oh well never mind. They did not want the work then.
Still feel dopey after a sleep. Woke up over an hour ago. Have loads to do but not sure I want to do any. I must get started on my new cross stitch. I am bit like that. I love doing it but getting a new project is always a bit of a problem LOL!!!!
Need to hunt out a little kit for a brothers partner as she loved the x-stitch I did for her for birthday.
Oh and food need to think about as well. Not sure I can be bothered. Oh well LOL!!!!
Hugs and duvet forts to anyone who feels they need them. I will not forget the jaffa cakes LOL!!!
Yours

i love cross stitch, Calley! I can't do it myself because my fingers are too painful to grip a needle for long enough but I think is so pretty! I keep telling myself that I will buy myself a cross stitch picture one day.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Even my husband before his stroke did some.
Finished pictures are never worth much. Look in charity shops they may well have finished ones in there.

Oooh, good idea! I didn't think of charity shops! It's a shame they aren't worth more after all of the work that goes into them. I think people who can do it are really talented.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Is ok if I do a quick plug for anyone who might be in the area (unlikely though it is) for the dogs trust fund raising day this Sunday at Ragley hall in Warwickshire?
Gitdog and I will be providing the comic relief for our dog training class, while everyone else shows how it should be done. Apparently we're using the same training ring as a police dog display, just to show us up even more.
I may be traumatised and back in the duvet fort by Sunday night.
WaS, do you mind me asking if coming back from holiday with all the excitement has given you post holiday blues, or made any of your symptoms worse? I love my holidays, but there's generally a bit if a slump when I get back. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Ah, but WaS has come back full of extreme achievements! I'm hoping those will counter any post-holiday blues!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

Aw, I wish I could be there, elsien! Gitdog might surprise you! (in a good way).
I don't have post holiday blues at all, quite the opposite! I managed to do so much that I am still totally excited by everything! Plus I will be seeing my teacher friend and staying over night with him for the first time in 2 years in 3 weeks time so I am looking forward to that. He has contacted the local zoo which he does a lot of charity work for and they have said they can easily fit us in for an early morning trip before they open to the public so I get to see even more animals.
Years ago I used to suffer from horrid post holiday blues but this time I am just overjoyed that I had the opportunity!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Don't worry elsien. Gitdog is such a cutie that even if he misbehaves people will just think he's cute and funny.
After fibre and laxatives and much water, we have ermm movement. Unfortunately that has med to MrMonkey b1tching at me for taking too long in the toilet. :rotfl: Its times like this I miss living alone.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Thank you. I don't think of it like that.
I just do it because I like to do it and relaxing.

Hello everyone! I am having a slow start to the day. I feel a little bit strange if the truth be known. Recently, I decided to report something that I knew was wrong. It is now being looked into. For the first time in forever - apologies, littlewing has been singing Frozen this morning - I don't actually find it so stressful that it is all-consuming. So I am learning to not get quite so affected by things I can't control, and to just do my best to put things right but also to give other people the time and trust that they will do their bit properly.
Treadmill, treadmill, treadmill. Whoever it was that said my thoughts on anorexia were to do with envy of the self-control was correct. Funny how I can have great self-control in some areas but not in other significant things.
WaS, did you have any psychosis while you were away? How did your various symptoms change?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
