Good discussion here about jobs. :) Firstly, well done on sticking with your job through issues with your MH, MU and I'm glad you're beng supported by your employer. I have plenty of respect for anyone who serves food because, well, you serve me food and that's very important to me! ;) Seriously though, a few of my friends work in cafes and they work such long hours, dealing with so many awkward people and I don't know how they manage, I really don't!

I work in an office, but within IT so no having to deal with customers. I used to get ~70 calls a day in my previous jobs and hated it as I just was not good at dealing with people when they got stressed and shouty. :o I'm happy with what I do now, but it's annoying that we have 6-monthly reviews and the company is quite big on progression so we have to have a 3 year plan and I don't have/want one! I'm happy doing what I do, I don't want to be a manager and spend all day in meetings and working late every night and getting stressed, yet they're not happy with that! :o OH works in a warehouse and people look down on him but it's a pretty skilled job as he has licenses to drive several different types of machinery (fork lift, cherry picker etc), it's a manual job which keeps him in great shape as he's basically working out for 7 hours a day and he works with a great bunch of lads, the pay is pretty good and he's really happy, with no stress or unpaid overtime etc and his hours mean he gets loads of time with DS (more than I do, actually!). :)

I hope Tea is getting on well at the new job and that FOH is finally moving out! :)

I'm hoping tea hasn't been around because she's having such a fabulous time in her new job, and/or met a gorgeous rich man who has whisked her off to a private island in the tropics.

Eta:rich. I'm not sure what an iuch man is.

I really like the ponies that the Queen goes riding in the parks near Buckingham palace. Very beautiful.

    Afternoon my lovelies,

Bike fixed no cost as I have a 3 year plan thingy.

Went and spent lots of money on decorating stuff. B & M are doing 50% off some of there emulsion paint. So what was a bargain at £12.99 for massive tub is now £6.50. Whites and creams but fine for what I want. Did buy a coffee colour. Getting excited now as after the hall is finished I get to decorate what will become my craft room :j

Bought some plants which is a bit premature as not finished digging out the roots at the bottom of the garden !!!!!!!

Anyway all washed out today and no idea why. Slept well for me about 7 and half hours all the way through. Was up and out for a walk by 7.30. But my joints all ache and this morning when I washed my hands felt like I had hit on something as it really hurt.

Yes I know I am weird lol!!!

Also not sure how I did it but bought some crisps when in home bargains but I did not go down the crisp aisle, I paid for them. How bizarre :rotfl:

off for a nap as I am really tired.

    Catch you all later

    Yours

    Calley

I dyed my hair for a festival the other Tuesday I've gone a firey red colour only problem is I've ruined two towels in the process and my bathroom looked like I had murdered someone in it lol Even the cats kept their distance just in case

Know how you feel about the grey hairs though I noticed a few from the age of about 22 and use to be able to just pull them out as and when I saw them but after I lost my mum they seem to have really taken hold and multiplied something awful the little sods! Funny thing is same thing happened to my mum when she lost my dad and she was about the same age as I am now so i guess history is repeating either that or i have incredibly dodgy genes (which knowing my family isn't a far stretch)

I adore horses they are so gentle and have the most amazing personalities I'd love to go horse riding lessons but they are so expensive and the waiting list is huge round by me :(

Am I ok to have a little vent about my neighbours before I lose it ?

She rides a fell pony which will have been thoroughly schooled and additionally very, very well exercised to take the wind out of it's sails before she gets on it.
We had a couple of fell ponies on the farm, they were both complete head bangers and I have the broken arm to prove it.

I used to have fiery red hair and I loved it. People used to stop me in the street and compliment it. But I got sick of destroying towels.

    Rant away Faith.
