She arrived and reminded me I still had my nails to do! :rotfl: Strangely enough, they are a perfect match for my handbag! :D I don't think I've ever really matched my handbag to my shoes before? Just as well because they're not matching this time either! Barbies trying her best! :rotfl:

I did a trial run with new make up today, and it was a success, so that's one thing sorted. I used to wear make up ALL the time, wouldn't go out without it. Then I realised that my skin looks ok and I look ok without it and stopped wearing it....I'm lucky if I wear it a few times a year.

The JF colour seems to cover greys quiet well. I don't really have many, but there was this one (maybe 2-3!) that stood out, and it seems to have covered it ok.

Yay to the compliment off DH! :D

Well will have when I do my other hand lol
  • I have peachy orange nails. I used to change the colour all the time, but now I cba with the faff anymore!

Lime green sounds fab Melly! I've got some of that knocking about somewhere but have so far just tried the colour on one nail and didn't think it suited me.

Meh. But it got me out of the house.

I've done 10 loads of laundry

Got 4 pairs of trousers I can now wear

    A new shoe bag

A jacket that I can wear without looking too awkward

A cross stitch poppy card finished and another project started

A good go at stripping paint and varnish

A Calvin Klein shopper from the charity shop which has cleaned up rather well and is in storage ready to use

An appointment made to view a new build house closer to work.

Still need to make big decisions about what to do with the house I'm living in though.

Not bad for ten nights/nine days off.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Just seen a post in the arms saying that the forum is shutting down overnight for maintenance or something. Thought I'd mention it as the message isn't showing on my old style forum and I hadn't realised.
At least it means I'll observe my no late late screen time rule for the first time in weeks.

Just popping in to say am feeling a bit better today.
Went very flopbot yesterday. Everything just got to me, and felt very tearful.

Am still resting, mostly in bed as it hurts to sit.
GP says it will probably take another two weeks or so.

Anyway, will probably just watch a lot of TV today.

    :A

I am very happy. I bought a new bag. It's one of those anti-theft ones because I'm always worried that someone will steal all my stuff when I'm on holiday. It has slash proof lining and metal in the strap so nobody can cut it and clips so it can't be opened without a lot of work and while it's not a fortress, hopefully it's enough work that the pickpockets will look for an easier target. Test driving it today.

  • Evening all! I appear to have triggered my acid reflux. I tried a meal for the first time since the bug last night, just plain rice. I managed a few mouthfuls before feeling very full, had bad heartburn, immediate diawoowoo and threw it all up! I already have medication for the reflux so I think it is just a matter of waiting it out until my stomach heals. The problem is that it has now been 3 days without food, the accompanying problem is that I like the feeling of being empty. It isn't a good idea for me to go without eating for a while because my ED creeps back. That aside I feel fine again now and am living off of water and flat coke.
