Thanks whitewing!
I am nominating Whitewing for the Golden Lights Oscar for providing useful links to articles relevant to thread topics (can't work out how to condense it to a snappier title!)
I am also nominating Melly for the GLO for being the red tape negotiating queen!
Just took Little Sod out to play on the park. As we were heading back to the car he decided to jump in to someone else's car boot. He had been playing in mud. Luckily the car (a posh Mercedes!) belonged to a builder so had plastic sheeting in the back. He takes far too much pleasure in embarrassing me!0 -
he was upgrading your car, its very helpful of him Katy.
How is you today?
I have changed fingers for my ring.
BRAVE called me back, there going to call me again on Tuesday to go through what help they can offer.0 -
My concern Melly is that I have a strong suspicion he knows how to drive, so don't want to encourage him to jump in to random peoples cars. I can't afford bail money!
I'm OK thank you. I caled IAPT and they are arranging an assessment, although they will need to be quick!
Hopefully BRAVE can be of some help, but if not at least like whitewing said it does show you are doing everything you can to resolve the situation0 -
Good afternoon all!
Not been around for a while.. unfortunately, not got up to much!
I realised today just how much social anxiety I have when I'm having a low day.. all I needed to do today was go into town to buy shoes for work and it took me about 2 hours to gather the motivation to leave the house! I was in town for literally 5 minutes!
Hope everyone is ok!

Nice to see you RJ.
Katy - the police would take one look at his sweet face and release him. Or be really impressed by a driving dog that they'd offer him a job.
I have been wearing heels all week to try to break them in and have decided I quite like wearing heels. This is worrying as: a. I already tower over 50% of men and in these shoes I am the same height or taller than DH (6'3") ; b. I live in jeans and converse. My inner tomboy has been hijacked by Barbie and I've been *whispers* dressing like a girl lately; and c. Despite the fact my legs look super long and my bum looks good, I'm out of practice and I suspect I look a bit like bambi on ice. Plus they're not comfortable for long periods. What is happening to me.
Was - I took your advice to try speak to my 'other'. Her response was 'f*** off, I'm sleeping.' :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Before I read WW's post above, I saw codes (was working up backwards) and knew EXACTLY what was being talked about....I read that story this morning and it really made me angry  People like that shouldn't be allowed to own animals, not only that, she comes across so flippantly and so immature that I don't really think she realises the implications of her actions.
She says she loves animals, the whole article screams otherwise.
WW, I for one would support you in contacting the RSPCA. I don't know if anything can be done, but I'd like to think that there was. There's also this petition website too https://www.change.org/start-a-petition?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=GST_USER_GBRT1_SCHT1_petition_gen&creative=48114332743&keyword=petition&matchtype=e&network=g&device=t0 -
This a great response about using the outrage for positive:
https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/whats-happening/news/dogs-trust-response-to-daily-mail-article-dog-abandonment
I think she may have some issues herself really, to think like that suggests something wrong, but to write an article knowing there will be no positive outcome from it also suggests something wrong
Code, I so wish I could wear heels! I've never been able to due to joint damage in my legs. Enjoy it and make the most of it. I read somewhere that wearing a small heel is good for your back and posture.
Imagine the mayhem Melly if he was issued with a police badge!! Noone would be safe! Especially as I know he would immediately partner up with Gitdog!0 -

Can you send your hijacker Barbie over this way please code?So far my inner tomboy is winning, and I just can't get excited about wearing a dress tomorrow, and I know what you mean about heels....I can't even remember the last time I wore them?! They're wedges, so they're "safer" heels, although I've sprained my ankles so many times, I've got to be so careful.
I've decided my hair is quite red after all (although I agree with Birdie, JF colours aren't as bright as others, but they so easy to use!), and now I've just got my nails to paint....like I said before, I can't be bothered with the palava! :rotfl:
Have you worn your new dress yet?
Welcome back RJ0 -
She's on her way to give you a super girlie makeover Georgie. Sadly, much like everything else about me, inner barbie is a bit slapdash so you might have good shoes but your bag won't match and your mascara will smudge. :rotfl: used to love the JF colour but I don't think it'd great at covering greys.
I'm saving the dress for a picnic I'm invited to assuming it fits - it was a bit tight when I tried it on but I was bloated.
DH just said I looked thin!! After yoyoing a single pound for weeks, I lost 2 this week. Both of which will go straight back on once I've eaten this giant pizza for dinner.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
