    What an awesome gift Melly!!

Finally got the house to myself again! My parents don't say horrible things about my cleaning, just offer to do things such as hoover, dust etc when I have literally just done it before they arrive.
Makes me feel like my house looks a state. It is a very old cottage anyway so you can never keep on top of cobwebs etc as wildlife just wanders in when it feels like it. We have a wood burner too which kicks out a lot of dust and Little Sod isn't the cleanest of creatures. It's cosy though, but I just wish I didn't always feel like everything is filthy.
I think their comments is where my issue with cleaning floors has come from, although my last house was very modern and easy to keep sparkly and yet I still had the same problems.

Back in bed again now as need a good rest before MIL comes over later. I'm almost becoming social! Allowing two lots of visitors to the house in one week is unheard of let alone one day! Practice for once escapee arrives though.

Hope everyone else is doing well today.

Have you tried a teaspoon of honey WaS? My nan (the one with goblins, or lack of) used to say that if you had a teaspoon of honey and then walked once anticlockwise around the garden (room with the windows open in your situation maybe?) it would cure most illnesses. I still do it now and it quite often works!

    Just googled ovilus.

    Hmmm.

How is it supposed to work, exactly? Could anyone explain?

Going to the GP now to let him look at this haematoma etc. I'm not happy about how long it's taking.

    See you later.

Yes goblins Melly! Wonder if your OHs machine could detect them?

I mentioned it a couple of days ago and WaS decided she wanted goblins!

My nan used to tell me that if you kept your shoes under the stairs you would get goblins. You would also get goblins if you left Xmas decorations up after twelfth night, although not sure if they are the same sort of goblins or a different breed

If you've read this far and still don't know what an ovilus is:

Looks intriguing. Let us know how he gets on.

    Will he take requests, lol?

It would be interesting to know how it works.
It picks up energy fluctuations. What sort of energy, I wonder, and how does it detect that?
How would it distinguish between different types of energy?

Any techie people know? Or have any ideas?
