Sounds like you're workig through things, best to take it in small steps, one thing at a time. I know it must be stressful for you and for OH but personally I reckon you've shown more strength and patience than I could hope to have.

Get police done, then maybe have a breather before the harrasent thing. Make sure you look after yourself :) ((((hugs))))

I've never actually had a brand new instrument before! (Although I own *cough* several). I did part exchange another one, so Mr JM can't complain too much about having ANOTHER instrument in the house :D

My friend told me that his wife has apparently banned him from buying anymore ukuleles. He's ended up buying at least 2 more this year.:rotfl:He told me to remember n+1. N being how many you already have and 1 being how many more you need. I currently have 5 ukuleles of various sizes in my flat.

Getting a tad fed up now - have spent the last 2 days with a headache and now have kidney pains again. :( it's hormonal, I think. At least I hope it's that.

Home check done today by the letting agent. Apparently we have to take shelves down when we move and fill the holes. Fine, I said, then showed her the hole in the nursery wall they have spent months avoiding fixing.
Think they are finally taking it seriously as she says she would get a builder in asap to look at it, as it looks structural.
Not what I have been trying to tell them for months at all!!!

Katy hope it gets sorted now.

Got email today to say youngest is elegible for me to employ him a personal assistant for 80 hours a year....something else for me to add to my stress list along with picking eldests secondary school, new flooring needed in extension, building work in living room, eldests residential trip, youngest having new classroom and teacher, youngest dentist and orthotics appointments and eldest 2 summer project and ongoing problems with hubby's family.

Still feel ill and be glad when it's bed time...at least kids were fairly good at grandparents and stayed longer than expected

will be worth it when its sorted though MR3

    got em

reason I am considered quite good at my job is research, stubborn and usually good with people

Research threw up a Verrrrry interesting document written for HA around the human rights act got them on a breach of our right to respect for private life, family or home

    Example:
    A resident complains to a
social housing provider that a group of
its tenants are making her home life
miserable by shouting at her from
outside her home, throwing refuse into
her garden, sitting on her front wall and
playing loud music and using foul
language well into the night. The
landlord knows who the perpetrators are
but decides to take no action for fear of
reprisals against its staff and given its
potential obligation for re-housing of the
    perpetrator family (which includes a
    number of vulnerable individuals). Doing
‘nothing’ in these circumstances is highly
likely to amount to a breach of the
victim’s right to respect for private life,
    family or home

thats the actual example within the document

    lol
