  • Hahahahaha! I want to see, elsien!

Because WaSp likes his meat almost burnt, for years I had never tried rare beef, SDW. Then I accidentally had medium rare once and it was a wonderful revelation! I also like rare. I can eat it if it is well done but I do prefer it still soft and juicy.

    calley,

you are not allowed to go awol from this planet at least until you have taught littlewing how to do handstands.

Even when I was a normal weight I have never been able to do them or cartwheels.

I don't have the faintest idea how she should attempt them. She really wants to...

My aunt and I attempted to show here what a wheelbarrow race was just before sports day. She started laughing because she thought it was such a bizarre thing to do and then we couldn't move because we were laughing so much.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • Hahahaha! I remember wheelbarrow races, whitewing!

Can Littlewing do headstands? They are easier to start with. A good way of learning is to stand near the wall and when you throw your legs over your head, use the wall to balance your feet against. Once you can balance against the wall then try doing it without.

    Thank you.

Not done cartwheels or handstands in a while. but should fairly easy to teach.

I would look on you tube and see if there is a decent video. For cartwheels, its just planting your hands one after another on the floor and following through with the legs.

Handstands well they are a bit more difficult. As it is about planting your hands on the floor at the same time and then kick upwards.

No video, so you'll have to use your imaginations.

Picture the scene, if you will.

It is the weekly training class.
4 dogs have been asked to do the warm up routine and get focussed. Three of them are enthusiastically sitting, going down, and standing to command. The fourth is standing with his back to the room, nose to the wall, with a mutinous edge to his posture. His exasperated owner (guess who) is calling, whistling and wafting smelly treats in his direction in a vain attempt to gain his attention.

The trainer tells the owner to walk away and ignore Gitdog, for it is he. He’s not in the slightest bit bothered, although he does turn and survey the room with a world weary air of ennui. The trainer approaches and he leaps to attention, does a sharpish sit followed by a down, followed by collapsing into a fluttery eyed puddle at her feet, with one paw waving cutely and helplessly in the air. The trainer informs the room that he is clearly a much maligned animal whose owner is telling porkies about his supposed bad behaviour. Gitdog milks the “aaahs” from everyone else in the room (bar one) for all they are worth whilst also looking smugly in the owner’s direction.

All are then requested to demonstrate the tricks they have been asked to learn in the last week. The cute ball of puppy fluff balances on a box. The lurcher demonstrates a splendid roll over. The patterdale wipes the floor with picking up a tennis ball and dropping it into a shopping bag. Gitdog, who has been attending classes for at least a year longer than any of them, is theoretically doing a circle round owner’s leg and through the middle. He saunters over, starts to spin, forgets there’s meant to be a leg involved in the process somewhere and twirls off into the sunset. Remembering part way through that there was a down command about half an hour ago he drops to the floor and hits the “relax” button. Movement is now clearly beyond him , exhausted by his exertions as he is.

    Welcome to my world.

Oh dear Elsien! Exactly the reason I gave up training classes and resigned myself to having a dog whose only commands he responds to now are 'get out the flippin way' and 'stop licking your bum'

    Give me bloody strength

The lass i was on today with managed to not only stress out myself but also my manager (who rarely gets stressed). There are no words to describe her. She's been here over a year, she should know what jobs need doing (example-she was asked to clean the shop floor...which she's been asked to many a time...she actually legit asked me what my manager meant by shop floor), she then decided she didn't want to sweep the floor cos she's apparently "crap at it", so i had to do it all. She was asked to top up pop, a job that at max would have taken 15 minutes...she took nearly 45 minutes, which put us completely behind on cleaning. My manager got her to check the money (even though she admitted i am quicker at it), and not only did she chuck it all over the floor, when asked to write down 15p on the sheet she asked how? I'm pretty sure they cover money in infant school. In fact she was only asked to do money so i could try and cram in all the cleaning. Oh and she talks non stop. Even when you're serving customers she just talks at you expecting a conversation.

And before anyone thinks i'm being a !!!!! or too harsh to my managers knowledge she doesn't have learning difficulties or any reason for being how she is. She's a regular 18 year old. She's just...no..there are no words. Exasperating. That's what she is. My manger was so stressed she's decided the girl in question just cannot be allowed to do a close on a friday, she can't do the job and its not fair on other staff members. And i want to cry as i'm on close with her on sunday :(

I'm so stressed and !!!!ed off right now i went to tesco and bought beer (only a 4 pack, and i'm only having one the other 3 are in the fridge), and could happily have smoked a whole pack of fags (i haven't)
