MessedUp, you're feeling disorientated because you've had some time off, and work now appears strange and alien. Plus you're missing Swain.

Take each day one at a time. Don't look at the whole 6 days. Just look at getting through today first. After today, you can deal with tomorrow.

The minute you get into work, ask about the pay slip stuff. I'm sure that won't be a problem. It will be a cinch to give you a copy of the details.
And is your pay put straight into your bank account?if so, your bank statements would have details of the payments. Also, are you sent an annual tax statement? That would have the total pay received over the tax year.

You can do it! You'll be fine!

It's a pain about the journey, though. How long will the train replacement thing go on for? If it's for more than a day, make sure work know you'll be having problems getting to and from work.
Thanks Pyxis, Code and Onomatapia :) (and everyone else for being here)

Well today wasn't half as bad as i expected :) So thats one down. You're right, i need to break it down into manageable chunks and take each day at a time. I spoke to my supervisor and we found they can access the info i need though the computer was playing up a bit. He's helpfully done from december last year to now so at least i can start keeping a record and we're going to try and get a bit further back tomorrow.

I'm seeing Swain on monday so that should keep my mood up, then i'm off on my jollies on wednesday. if i can get through today i can get through the next few days

This phase of tram works is one for about 3 weeks....i think to save my sanity when i go to my festival i'm just going to get a taxi to the station to cut out the hassle :o Got to ork early enough today, so it's a pain but i'll manage

    Hello All!

The Oceanarium was amazing, I loved the giant turtles! They rose out of the water to say hello and followed us around the tank. We are off to meet some pine martens and lynx today! We have beautiful weather here, this is a wonderful, wonderful holiday!

    Yes and no.

I keep feeling like its time to see what life is like with out the pills though. I'd like to see if I can sustain with out them, if not then.....I cannot, but I'd like to know. :) its been a year.

Physically I've had a really good year. Things go up and down of course, but the main problems really have been energy and fatigue related rather than pain or neuro symptom. I have been suffering the tiniest bit more aphasia recently, but nothing worrying.

I love that the thread is so popular now, but my memory wouldn't let me keep up with it :o.
