    Pyxis asked me to at least check in and say "hello"

    So.....HELLO!

    Where in the world is the travelling oldest gnome? How is everyone else? Hello every one who doesn't know me. :). I probably won't be being regular here. I found that the memory thing with the busy thread was becoming quite stressful for me, and really worry how horrid it feels, especially to now joiners who need compassion and people who can take in their needs, not someone who cannot, but I do miss you. :)

    Pyxis also asked how the animals are...well the dogs and cats are just fine :) the kiwi is grinning more than ever, dog dog is sleeping as much as I do! And the cats are just delicious. Mauve squeaker had some kidney issues, but attention to diet seems to have got them under control quickly. Pink whistley ,has been hunting with enthusiasm. She got the first weasel ( well, that she has brought home anyway) this month. Not bad for a teenaged cat.

    If you read this, so glad you are ok!
    We've all been rooting for you!

    Do drop in when things have calmed down a bit! :A

    Lots of great summaries of WaS here!

    The pedant in me can't hold back, JM! Sorry sorry sorry! ;)

    The WaSquish consists of a squish ~ plus a squishy hug { }

    An ordinary hug is (((( ))))

    But a squishy hug is { }

    So a WaSquish is ~{WaSquish}~

    Make a serial nitpicker very happy! :D:D:D

    WaS,

    I think you are fab, great and wonderful. You do have power. And that is to keep going not matter how crappy things get.

    You make it a honor to know you. And I am in awe of you. And my issues pale in to significances, but you make all of us feel welcome.

    I hope that no one thinks its to sappy LOL!!! But is all true.

    Yours

    Calley
    Very well said, Calley! :T

    Not too sappy at all! Exactly right! :)

    Yey! LIR! You snuck in while I was fiddling with squishes! :T

    II think Oldestgnome was in Spain.....of has she moved on from there? Oh my memory! :rotfl:

    But listen, you have needs too! And don't think you don't give anything back, because we love hearing about the animals' exploits, especially people like me who are between pets! And there's plenty of room in the fort for all the coloured ones! Hahaha!

    By the way, for the benefit of any newer people, Kiwi isn't a kiwi, but a dog! Hahaha!

    Hello back LIR!

    WaS, glad to see you have poked your nose out again. I did read Elonas comment as saying you were constipated, it took me a second read to see compassionate! I agree with the compassionate.

    Good luck Melly.

    I'm still not up yet. Have had a good few days and today seems to be making up for that. Starving and need a drink but can't make myself go downstairs. Postman has taken parcels back to the post office as I wouldn't answer the door, so need to collect them at some point. Also had a call from someone about PPI which has made me worry about how they know all my financial details. Citizens advice appointment in a bit which will be awkward if I don't go downstairs!

    I think Calley nailed it about WaS - and I think what she said applies to all you others too, imho, as a newbie........those who have been and gone and those who lurk and those who comment occasionally and those who post regularly....just to know that there are other people out there who struggle and try and fall down and get up and try again, and fall over and get up AGAIN and just keep going......thank you for just talking about it..... I think Was started something wonderful - like she is the head gardener that dug over the soil and planted the seeds, but the rest of you are the bees and the wind and the rain and the sun etc that help the garden grow....everyone works together........and just to be clear WaS - you have no responsibility to or for any or us.......we choose to come to this garden and tend it together.....

    Moo - what did you think of them then? Sounds like they asked some good questions which is a good start for them, at least it shows they have a basic understanding of the area... so potentially have a genuine commitment to more than lip service compliance?

    I liked the HSEQ Lead, he was good.
    He liked the questions I asked at the end (what state is your Management System in, any patterns around incidents, what type of incidents etc) and we had a chat around workplace transport before I ended the call.

    Not sure if im corporate enough for them, tend to do sharpend stuff, its what I like. Doesnt mean im not writing policy cos I am just prefer shopfloor stuff.

    All staff have mandatory HSE training which is good, might help people understand their responsibilities
