At my gps if you want a same day appointment they ask you what its about. To decide if its a Dr or Nurse you need to see.

If its a appointment booked in advance then they don't ask. Go figure.

i really didn't think they were allowed to ask. Maybe it's to judge whether it's urgent enough to warrant a same day appointment? Then again, I don't think they're really in any position to make that decision.

Well done on booking your smear test! :T Hope my penguin hasn't made you more nervous? They really are a quick and simple test. I just posted as it seemed different to last time, although it was 3 years ago when I last had one. Also, wearing a dress is a good idea too!

Glad you're feeling abit better today WaS. :) Also, you can never have enough pasta! It lasts for ages and is so versatile. :D

No idea. When I need a same day appointment just normally tell them mental health issues and its long term thing.

Not sure why smears scare me but they do. Late last year I had to go to the dr's and strip off for them to look at something on the inside of my thigh right at the top. So it meant entire bottom half off with everything on show. As it was male dr got asked if I wanted a Chaperone. I said no lets get on with it :rotfl:

I don't like waiting around for things. So think thats why I get put off and I never remember when MTOTM is. But last few months I have been putting it in to my phone as a note.

I am on a train. And somewhat disgruntled by someone sitting next to me despite there being empty rows of seats. I don't mind people sitting next to me if there's no choice, but find it invasive when not necessary.
    Is that weird?

    Yes it is.

its like when you park in a empty car park and you come back and have a car parked right next you.

My theory is that the person who parked next to you is concerned there car will get lonely while they are away from it LOL!!!!

Finally tried my two dresses on....OMG! They're going straight back! One was clinging to my stomach and way too short, the other too girly....I looked like I should be in a jewellery box or something! Also, anyone know a good way to get rid of fat knees? :rotfl:
