I had the best day ever! I played dress up!

Just as the people who work in the castle had told me there was no one there apart from staff and the man who owned it who greeted us. One of the staff walked us around the rooms and explained the history to us and because I am embarrassing I asked if I could touch things because I wanted to feel something hundreds of years old. She allowed me to do so and even let me press a key on a very old piano! Then I spotted a rail of Victorian clothes. I was admiring them and she asked if I wanted to try some of the outer garments on? YES PLEASE! I tried on various bonnets and silk gloves, furry muffs and lots of long velvet capes. I had so much fun!

Then we went to our quiet pub by the beach and there was no one outside at all! So I had another half a cider and drove WaSp mad telling him much I enjoyed dressing up! I am still ridiculously excited!

Crumbs! Now it's WaS does David Copperfield, what with dressing up in Victorian and sitting by the beach! :D

What did WaSp dress up as? The Beadle? :rotfl:

And there'll be donkeys next, no doubt! :rotfl:

I can't move the treadmill to watch TV at the same time, but I do listen to music sometimes which helps. I did do another 10 minutes on the treadmill tonight. Also helped my brother clean his car this afternoon.

7DW, thank you for sharing your experiences. I looked at the links and found it interesting (I'd never thought about it being a sleep disorder). I am sorry that I don't have anything productive to say that could help you.

    code, very impressive weight loss.

WaS, I am so happy to read about your holiday. I hope you enjoy every minute and I am very glad that you have been well enough so far to enrich your life with these experiences. I still wish you had a film crew with you so we could all share it with you. (At the very least, it would probably stop my woe-is-me act).

Exercising straight away has worked for me this morning. 30 minutes done.

I am tearful though at the moment, and for once it is nothing to do with TOTM. I don't know if I am on a slight downer, which is not good, or if I am working through some suppressed years-old anger, which would be bearable if I knew at some point it would vanish.

Hope y'all have a great day!

((((Whitewing)))). That happens to me too and sometimes its nothing to do with hormones or whatever. Sometimes its low blood sugar and I need to eat something and sometimes I just a need to let the boohoos out. Put on some bouncy music and dance and sing along.

What came first, the music or the misery?
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
