They say when it rains it pours, and that's certainly happened for you at the moment MU.
I'm sure everything will be fine, and if not, you and swain will deal with it together, because from what you've said, he sounds wonderfully supportive.
You can never have enough hugs, so here, have some more (((MU))) x x0 -

Have just read the thread, MessedUp.
Big hugs ((((((((((((((((MessedUp)))))))))))))))))
I hope your talk with Swain goes well, I'm sure it will, and am sure you'll be ok. :A
Please do talk to your doctor tomorrow about this, and about the Meds reordering etc. I'm sure there are things they can do.
And I'm sure your manager will be fine about your time off. Tell her what you've told us. She's been very supportive in the past and I'm sure she'll understand.
You'll be OK, MessedUp. :A :A :A
WaS, am glad you had a good rest.
Have a lovely trip to see your teacher friend! I bet he's excited! Can't wait to hear all about it! Have a super time.(I just lurve spiders!)

WaS was it withdrawal? Perhaps coupled with some panic about tomorrow?
Have a hug/warm handshake xx0 -
OK MU, sorry about the delay. Penguin reply
Rather ironically, I know very well that panicky "Omigod what have I done?" sinking, lead weight in tummy, panicky feeling and nothing I say will fully reassure you. But I'm going to try.
All my experience at ttc is quite useful in the opposite direction too. It's actually much harder to get pregnant than they tell you at school. To actually get pregnant the conditions need to be just right - cervix open, cervical mucus (sorry!) egg white in appearance, egg appearing at just the right time, and sperm meeting the egg and fertilising it before either of them die. Even if the egg does manage to fertilise, you then need the right conditions in the womb for it to implant. Under optimal conditions, a woman has a less than 33% of conceiving so a 9% chance is really, really low. Try not to worry.
Not sure why you have to wait 4 weeks to take a test - a high sensitivity test (doesn't have to be an expensive one - Superdrug own brand is pretty good - pink dye, not blue) can be taken 19 days after unprotected sex with a pretty trustworthy result, although you should follow up after 4 weeks too in case there are some other forces at work.
Even if the worst does happen, it's not the end of the world. If you wish to terminate, I can't see anyone in here judging and we will all hold your hand (virtually) and support you. Swain sounds like a good guy, so hopefully he'll support you too. You are stronger than you know.
If you want something to do in the meantime, parsley tea is an old-timey midwives fertility control. If you make sure that it doesn't have a reaction with any of your medications, it won't do any harm to try (aside from the taste).
Massive hugs.

Right I am going to say night.
My day did not end very well. My own fault. Never mind.
I hope everyone gets the sleep they need.
Take care.

That's years of in-depth research into the female reproductive cycle for you - both trying to get pregnant and trying not to get pregnant. I know more about fertility than several GPs in my practice. I feel I should have a degree or something to show for it. Perhaps it should be my specialist subject if I ever go on Mastermind :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
