Trying to unwind after work and watching Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare's USA

I'm an idiot because i forgot i need to make a doctors appointment to get my meds, so that's resulted on me now being on day 4 of no meds. (I do have an appointment but its on Tuesday). It's not been too bad....bar the racing thoughts and catastrophizing (like the other day when i convinced myself i must have lung cancer, or this morning when i convinced myself Swain was going to leave me-based on nothing but the racing and intrusive thoughts :o)

Having racing thoughts is a bit like having 4 tv's on at the same time, on different programs, and you flit between them all but the noise from all of the at once makes you want to scream and you can't concentrate and its just very noisy. :(

I think i will be ok, just got to get through the next 2 days. Its not impacted work too much, bar people noticing i've been a lot more chatty )and about somewhat random things...)..and my ability to clean the whole shop in 20 mins  (well i suppose one plus side is feeling like this makes me more productive in some ways). ...thing is people just see me as a bit eccentric rather than ill...i'm no sure if that's a good thing in regards to the hypermanic symptoms but in some ways i don't feel as bad about experiencing them if people pretty much treat me the same.

I'm currently trying to avoid ebay....as i'm feeling horribly impulsive and want to buy everything :o
I need a serious chat with my GP about how to avoid this happening again! :o

Oh dear. I know the feeling about catasrophising, I think that was part of the problem with my ex. As I would not hear from him for a week and then think I had done something wrong or he no longer liked me. I spoke to him about a week ago and he said why do you think I kept coming back I liked you. Well thanks for telling me that.

I hope you will be ok until tuesday. its easy to forget to sort your meds.

I am slightly worried as I have only got a 28 day supply. I have booked appointment for 3 weeks time. Which I have to change as it clashes with another appointment

I hope they will up the dosage but also put it on repeat. To make my life a bit easier.

I believe My meds have given bad stomach today and made me feel
a bit sick this evening. As that is some of the side effects but I am on a low dose.

Mind you I went and watered my pots at 9ish and then went and pruned my cherry tree. I know but its been too hot and I just felt like it LOL!!!

I'll survive, just got to find ways of dealing with the symptoms, i should probably be grateful its a hypomanic episode and not a depressive one as the depressive episodes last longer and are much harder to cope with.

I always seem to get a 28 day supply, which annoys the hell out of me as there is only one month with 28 days and even that changes every 4 years. Hopefully my GP will put it back on a repeat,of give me 6 months batch prescriptions. I imagine you GP will put them on repeat at some point, but i think they tend to be cautious when starting new meds as it depends on how well they work for you :)

My AD makes me feel sick when i first take it, not as bad as previous meds. One i was on i would end up retching over the toilet half an hour after taking it everytime and that lasted about 6 months , the side effects do tend to lesson after a month or so though.

Hi all, hope you get your meds on Tues :)
I'm on 4 meds on repeat - 3 of them I get a months worth, and only a fortnight of the fourth. Maddening - will have to all about getting that changed.

Today has been very odd. Went to a friend's house for gaming, didn't manage any as I had to go lie down during an ME fatigue crash. This was at my ex's place. As I gradually recovered and my brain started moving again, the visual noise from his borderline-level hoarding started to make me panicky.

I'm desperately trying to go to sleep rather than frantically clean my bedroom - I don't have the energy to do it, and will wipe myself out for days if I try. Very very frustrating, hate the anxiety it causes.

Still it could be worse, I could be living with a hoarder! Finally seem to have broken that habit :)

I would love just to go to sleep. Again going to blame it on the meds.

I am so bored I am looking at garden sheds!!!!

All part of the ongoing project in the garden. Going to have a massive change about LOL!!!!!

Really need to measure up. But as its 3am I think I will it until its day light :rotfl:

    Happy Birthday HBS.

Oh well got about 3 hrs sleeping. So hanging now.

Went up my mums at 9.30 this morning and just got back home. That was not the plan LOL!!!

I took a cutting of a plant up for her. Got invited to stay to dinner. Even though my brother came home.

It did change my plans, Well the weather did that too. As I was out cutting bits off my cherry tree at 8.45 this morning, But it started to rain. boo hoo.

Come home and after such a lack of sleep I have no energy LOL!!! So no more pruning of my cherry tree.

    Oh well.
