Here is number 14 NSD for the Cauldron of Doom!

Igor, pay attention please! Tomorrow is the Solstice. The sun will rise at 04:28 and set at 21:48 (in the Land of Nargle, that is, may be slightly different elsewhere). The day after, the sun rises at 04:29 and that means the night is a whole minute longer (sunset remains at 21:48 for the next few days.) Winter is coming!!!

So, how to celebrate the Solstice?

No, we can't have our usual bash at Stonehenge, there is a court injunction banning the NSD gang from within a five mile radius of the place. Why? Something to do with you, Hubert, the altar stone, several metres of rope and your collection of chef's knives. Poor donkey has only just come out of counselling after what happened last year.....

Oh I don't know, Igor, ask the rest of the NSD gang, they might have some ideas for a party.

Oh yes, the NSD gang have just got to invade Glastonbury! And it's ok, Mrs Doyle, I know you fancied doing a tea party, but this will be more fun, and you can make us all a lovely picnic, egg sandwiches, cake, scones, the lot! And Igor can bring the giant tea urn so we can have a veritable lake of tea!

Hear that ,Igor? Glastonbury needs a new back-up headline act....get practising with Chef and Hubert, Tatty could grunt some backing vocals as well......Oh look, guess which band are making a guest appearance? I can imagine it now, "Live from their residency at the Headquarters of the Berliner Polizei, with an added bonus of a drag queen cabaret spot in the middle, Glastonbury give a big welcome to.....The Good Ole Boys!!!!"

Come on, let's start packing the stuff in the Tardis, only nine hours or so till sunrise on Solstice Day!

Ohhh, if we get Tatty and [STRIKE]his[/STRIKE] her cousins on stage it could be like a reunion of Pans People ...except slightly less light of foot...and hairier, much much hairier :eek:
