Morning all
I am on 5 NSDs with 3 in a row. I was away from Friday at a wedding and I paid the hotel and flights and OH paid for everything else and the wedding had a free bar - an unexpected NSD weekend.

Sunday was a NSD but actually it's NSD1 - having declared last Thursday I realised at the weekend that I'd paid out for a day out for me but because it didn't come out of my purse I'd forgotten it! So I had declared in error, but all sorted now.
DD wanted me to buy some cream on Sunday so she could make ice-cream but I explained I was trying really hard for an NSD and she thought about it and made sorbet instead. Glad she's getting it! Although I think she's now scared of the MSE forum as in her AS level English Language paper the other week, one of the texts to comment on was a forum post!!
That's ok Seaotter.
Well done on your DD for taking on board your suggestion. It's never too soon to learn about making do.
I hope that her exam went ok.fedupandskint wrote: »A NSD weekend here making it NSD 7

I'm being pro-active and have already declared today as #7.
It's also '6 in a row'.0 -
Spend day - one D/Debit went out, but the 'Monday or shortly after' hasn't (no surprise there, but it'll lose me another NSD later in the week!)
Might have also (ahem!) had another DVD box set fall into my Amaz0n basket and slip through checkoutI bought season 1 yesterday and season 3 today, which seems daft. I do normally buy in order, but season 3 hit a new lowest ever price and it looked like one of the price battlers had disappeared - so I nabbed before it went back up (the seller is my preferred seller, and I know how his/her prices chop and change to be in line with the next cheapest). Just need to watch for season 2 becoming affordable now (and will happily give up an NSD to get it), but seasons 4 thru 8 will be a long time coming - only available as region 1 (not a problem for me, as I have 2 multi-region players), and selling for at least 3 times what I'm really happy to pay for them from sellers the other side of the water which also means a risk of customs/handling fee which would double the cost again  Same story for the collection of films that go with them - currently just within my limit, but only from the other side of 'the pond' and I can't afford to get hit by customs
