What a day....Work not happy with me for taking a couple of hours out today, but couldn't let friend go all by herself. Things went ok really, considering she was almost at breaking point when we got in there and they almost ended up cancelling the interview part through, the lady seemed nice enough...not the dragon my friend was expecting. Horrible to see her so stressed but she soon calmed down. Hope she gets a good result......:D
DS is still working on his cv and looking at various part time jobs and Open University courses "Thanks again Flyby".......still needs to inform university that he will not be returning...........Then complaint regarding :mad:cockroach tutor  can be finally submitted to principle.
£100 paid into EF today can be used towards Euros needed for Xmas Hol :T.
Oh very annoyed yesterday found iceyland carrier bag in conservatory full of food, chicken, salmon all the expensive stuff and all defrosted and very smelly....it had been left there since Saturday....Yep I had forgotten to unpack and put into chest freezer. How did I manage to do that I wonder??:mad:
Might have a little nap feeling quite tired now.
CC B £1,500/ CC S £1,700...£3,200 total …. Mortgage £100,000 /£69,150 paid £30,850 remaining

Very wise Bob, you might be right (I really needed this to be pointed out) so thank you........rushing around so much, hadn't even noticed I was rushing around, if I were an elastic band I would be ready to snap after the last few weeks Lol Xx
Not in work till later so few hours of peace....now normally I would be whizzing around or ironing, cooking lunch- in advance or out in the garden filling bags with leaves. Instead I am watching an episode of "as time goes by" with a lovely milky coffee.......Haaaa must admit I am fighting the temptation to get up and mop the kitchen floor ocd kicking in, what an exciting life I lead ..........0 -
Well done! Time out is so important. I need to take my own advice too, always easier to give it to others..." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Another week with no penny's to throw at mortgage savings but funny really how hasn't seemed to bother me as much as I thought. Have been slightly naughty and bought 4 bargain jumpers (thankyou Teabay) only a total cost of £22 including postage.
Meeting DMamma before work this morning, then have to make up lost hours for Wednesday. must pop in iceland free voucher for chicken nuggets and supposed bonus of £5 after big spend on the frozen food I bought on Saturday (after defrosted chicken mishap will be like a getting some small compensation).
Here goes another day ....mop and bucket awaits boohoo0 -

Van needed tiny amount of work £70 to get through its test ( not bad really, could have been sooo worse ) but with cost of test on top EF nearly all gone................the battle goes on to get that business account of ours out of the red. Horrible job still owes us quite a bit for extra works, just hope no problems pop up.
DS is applying for jobs, (wants to take a year out of Uni and I agree with him), still hasn't informed the university...but they can whistle in the wind as far as I am concerned.
OH is still working hard weekends etc and seems to have cut back on the booze....we can live in hope. I will probably be kicking myself for this comment later Lol.
Finally I might be (probably) losing my job , found out yesterday....had an idea something wasn't right (cut backs in overtime etc). The funny thing is I am not flapping in the slightest, in fact quite calm about the whole situation............maybe I am need of a change or a few weeks rest, some time to concentrate on me. Thank goodness I have been saving all these years makes the news easier to bare.
£20 left over from EF for A1di today..........leaving cards at home then no silly spends.
Right time for third cup of tea and writing a very frugal shopping list .... Oh must remember my free chicken nuggets and £5 bonus in Iceyland0
