Goodie another £50 sliced off my Mortgage bit like a giant apple….will get under the £40,000 mark next week feeling very excited about that.
Didn’t have any luck at the bingo last night but only spent £4 and had a great well needed laugh.
Have listed approx. 35 items on Teabay they don’t seem to be doing brilliantly well at the moment but still quite a few days and at least a lot of watchers so fingers crossed.
Bought quite a few items from carboot also over the weekend at a bargain price and my job this evening is to list them all, sure to make something  The plan is to use all extra money made from Teabay sales to pay off CC "oh and help towards bath explained below"
OH came in from work yesterday quite fed up :(, he works as a self-employed plumber and it can be stressful….after installing a full bathroom and tiling to the floors and walls….what happens the young lad he has working for him drops a tile in the bath putting 2 holes to the bottom. I thought never mind we have public liability insurance, (never claimed) how wrong can you be the excess is £500 new bath cost £260 …..so he has totally lost a big chunk of profit on the job after all his hard work., felt really sorry for him last night. The thing is I seem to have put myself in a bit of a situation, to soften the blow I have told a big fat white lie and told him we were covered. I know silly thing to do, but I do have alot of money in DS account and surely its times like this when it should be used. So I now have 28 days to find the extra £260 to pay for the bath, or I will have to dip into mortgage savings. At least he went to work with a whistle this morning, even if I was left chewing my nails, "need to sell alot more on Teabay" yep I do get myself into some pickled eggs….
This will totally effect how much extra I can pay off my mortgage next week. Thinking of changing insurance £30 a month seems a lot for PLI. Will check comparison site tonight. Mmm thinking of changing silly boy apprentice whilst I am at it ….only joking.
Trying to decide if I should have a couple glasses of wine this evening. I have half a bottle left over from last week can only manage two glasses and feel tipsy. Supposed to have started my diet this week , that certainly didn’t materialise naughty me and I need to lose at least a stone and a half…..whilst I’m writing this very sentence I am thinking have we any biscuits left….terrible. Oh I will start next week, deserve a couple of glasses of wine. Terrible To Do List OCD not happy

    TO DO LIST:
    invoices &estimates up to date
    start on receipts
    clean DS room/bathroom
    sort loft
    list ebays DONE
    Polish DONE
    Vacuum through DONE

I'm finding staying out of debt is just as difficult as getting out, it seems old habits die hard!
