  • Still raining here now Bobarella still loving it........................

OMG I need to get this out... feel like I am going to burst...Last night I booked a week away abroad, only me and DS and that's not all, have booked for the week over Xmas, still that's not the worst or best of it.....Haven't told OH infact sitting here now feeling a mixture of nervousness, sickness and excitement. I can't believe it was me who booked it, just never had the guts before. The thought of another horrible Xmas and the plastic family act looming was to much to bare and something just snapped in me. I pressed confirm and now my mind is all over the place..should I keep it a secret from OH until it gets closer?, avoiding the guilt trip and poor me act.......Oh and his family will be furious with me, but then why should I care about those nasty people after the way they treated me & DS last year by providing OH with large bottles of whisky. At least now they can enjoy his company on Xmas day "but I am sure he will be on his best behavior getting loads of sympathy"and I will certainly be the main topic around the table Lol ..............................Wow now I am ranting .......................
Need to sort out doggy care for that week also...very important
update later.............Oh dear, wish me luck.... Xx

ps maybe if people do say anything to you it's easier to be blunt?? 'We're going away so we don't have to experience the hostility and nastiness that we did last year as well as witness OH abuse himself with alcohol and you facilitate it. We're really looking forward to a break'.

But then, I'm not known for my tact.....
