Whoo hoo DS had a good day, well! From what I could pry out of him, through the grunts and hmm’s....yes he’s not the biggest talker! Made a friend which is always a plus, got a girl smiling and eyeing him up and then bumped into an old friend from school who has also started university, so panic over, I am hoping. Have £30 to pay off my mortgage tomorrow, love a mortgage pay day.
Online sales have quite a few watches, have listed a lamp I bought for only £6 on carboot and seems quite popular….hoping to make a good profit by Monday.
Day off today, so meeting D Mama in town….will try not to spend too much today, must admit have slipped backward slightly as regards to silly small spends.
Another £10 paid off CC this morning....

  • £12 Interest from a savings account I had forgotten about last year ....so another £10 off mortgage

Dreading tomorrow. Molly moo having operation so we have to get her to the vets for 8.30am.....trying not to worry at the moment… just be happy to get her home tomorrow. Was so stressed today, I locked myself out of my house, first time in the 12 years. Funny really because OCD went into overdrive ended up clearing front garden and then cleaning car whilst waiting for OH to let me in,, just about to clean front door and window sills when he pulled up. Don't know what I must have looked like, food shop on the step and me rushing around the front garden with kitchen towel and kitchen spray
Have been quoted £612 vet bill….hoping insurance will cover, but that is second in my thoughts just wish it was this time tomorrow.
Going to plan an early night and busy day tomorrow......

Molly moo operation went fine, nothing sinister showed up ….thank goodness :), I am a total worrier….she in a hell of a mood and really letting me know she very pithed off with me at the moment lol. Feeling relieved but wrecked, have had no sleep and never stopped working all day....back and knees are killing me.
Managed to save £60 by cleaning my conservatory myself, it’s quite a size and we had a quote from the window cleaner, to do roof and all frames/windows outside for £60…which I must admit I thought was ridiculously high. Very pleased with myself as it is looking sparkly clean and a good saving :T
Looking forward to a relaxing evening watch the soaps and chill………………….

  • Hello Skinny, yes I am fine thanks for asking, had a few stressful days with my son starting University, my OH struggling with his usual crap, excuse my language lol and my doggy needing a small operation, but things all started to pan out as the week came to an end, all quiet on the home front for now so definitely making the most of it while it lasts ………..nice to read how well things are shaping up for you and yours, more good things to come I say x:)
  • £20 paid off mortgage today, still haven't received £1000 money owed to me by friend, she has promised me the money one day next week so I am trying not to worry, but I am :(
Very annoyed with builder my OH did some work for, we were told he had a reputation for not paying his contractors, also his reputation for greed would put scrooge to shame.... but by then my OH had already completed the work...after 4mths of phone calls and excuses he finally called round with the money he owed us, my OH was out and had told him it was ok for him to leave the cash with me, we were over the moon, thinking yes at-last he has coughed up. He owed us £1,195 he handed me £900 in an envelope "300 short", and with a smile aswel:mad::mad::. This will cover the materials bought at least, but means OH has done the work for 0 :(. Now we are left with him not answering his phone again. I really can feel my face turning purple, :eek:how can people treat other people like this...He is very well off, his car is worth thousands and has properties all-over the N.E. I really hope he gets a visit from 3 spirits and his money makes him miserable....ooh totally needed that sound off….the times we have been ripped off by customers…running a self employed business can be soooooooo hard at times..........................................

Up bright and early for a Sunday morning.....Cold this morning, have put my fire on...had terrible night dreaming about killer spiders . I read that to dream about a spider is a lucky omen...the bigger the spider the bigger the luck!! hmm. My favorite pass time Car-boot this morning, looking forward to a morning out. Going with my sister and D mama, will be looking to buy bargains to sell....that way I still get to do some shopping with an added bonus. Hoping I can turn this into a profitable little side line to help with my debts.. :D
