I hope you found lots of bargains today and things sold well.
It's one of the most frustrating things when you get ripped off, I feel your pain, I very much believe in karma, it keeps me sane

Thankyou…yes I remember reading your problems with building work, your drive/patio if I remember correctly and a certain bad contractor, it really gives you that kick in the stomach feeling. I also truly believe in Karma, but by dwelling on it “which is one of my biggest faults” I am allowing him to win so I am blocking that horrible man out of my head. However we have still decided to be a constant thorn in his side and chase him with annoying and constant phone calls and invoices, worth a go! ….:)0

Happy, Happy…Have paid £40 off mortgage today through PP…. sold lamp £26 only paid £6. Other 4 items sold for approx £21, giving me a smashing profit of around £40….oh I might just stick at this buy n sell lark….:)
Got myself a few bargains to sell on Sunday, laid out a-bit more cash £20 3 items...so hope I make a profit
Have stripped walls in living room, thought I would be tired of decorating and then I do this "whats wrong with me?"….think I maybe regretting it already, will take my time haven’t even found a wallpaper I like yet.
Also decluttered dining room and had a sort out for charity shop, gave away 3 small pieces of furniture, they were very old, but they seemed quite happy with them, maybe mahogany is coming back in fashion.
Finally sat down, supposed to be my day off and haven’t stopped to take a breath.
Bingo evening tonight, looking forward to a good giggle…and not given up on a big win yet.

I should have creepy crawly spider dreams more often....sis won £120 bingo last night, :j:j £40 winnings each when shared between the 3 of us. After giving DS £10 and OH £10 treats ....still left with £20 for me....now usually I would put the lot into my mortgage pot, but oh no ....I am going to buy myself a nice new pair of jeans, I got paint on my old favourites....so primarky here I come.
Can slice a good payment off my Mortgage today, anyway....need to look at my finances again, but should have around £200 to slice off today.:):)

Just put my feet up after 2hrs in the front garden, weeded, cut back some major shrubs/trees. Planted some heathers which I couldnt resist only £2.49 each from Aldiii, my OH bought them hehe....
Happy....Happy ,£240 paid off mortgage today.....:j:j
If my friend pays me the money she owes me, I should have my mortgage under £39,000 mark by the end of the week.
Also a bag I bought from carboot for £1.50 and am selling on teabay is actually up to £10 only listed it Sunday night....:):)
Sold a dress also for £6 so hoping to have that bit extra again next week to put into mortgage, depending on how things sell
Made a gorgeous pasta bake...raided the fridge for stuff that was almost ready for the bin or use by date.... mince, peppers, onions, mushrooms and thick with cheese, bit of a mix but turned out surprisingly delicious yum, yum

Sliced huge payment off mortgage today….friend paid £500,getting the rest tomorrow, so swiftly into the mortgage it flew, so should be able to pay off another £500 tomorrow…………..:j:j
Also roofer/builder friend has quoted us a combined price for roof/plastering and other house repairs of just below £10,000….mates rates apparently. Shocked and stunned, this is £4,000 less than the £14,000 I had previously guess-estimated and had added to my Mortgage. So very happy to knock another £4,000 from my Mortgage total, knocking my mortgage to below 35,000…..really shocked but builder seems to think the work is not as severe as I thought, and I’m not complaining. He is very busy so booked the work in for after xmas, but don’t mind waiting.
Now for the bad news Van has broken down once again, with winter months approaching and OH will needing something reliable we will have to use some of my mortgage funds towards a better vehicle...
Not feeling to down about it though, considering the good news from our builder friend.

Chilly this morning, Meeting D Mama for a nice cuppa before work this morning. Hoping to pay another large amount into my mortgage all going well.
Teabay doing well my £20 carbooty spend to sell is already bidded up to £25, into profit, bidding ends Sunday night, so hoping to make enough to cover forgotten fees back.

Friend came up trumps as promised….£470 into mortgage pot, so happy day :T:T….aiming to get below 30,000 by February 16….:D
Very tired today, after wallpapering my feature wall with the lining paper I bought from the charity shop £1 a roll, ages ago. The plan is to transform my living room for as cheap as possible…. so sick of the colour red. have been in town but no silly spends, did however manage to find a tin of Dulux nearly full olive feature wall paint for £3.00 on flea market, bargain. I also bought a lovely pair of black and cream curtains from the carboot on Sunday £4.50, “lovely fabric” hoping to make these into new cushion covers for my plain boring suite and to recover my chair seat to match.
So far a total grand spend of £9.50 on fabric, paint and lining paper, cant be bad. My curtains are red, so need some green ones to match in, but no rush, will wait and shop around....wouldn't have said that 6 months ago...;)

DS had bad day at Uni, yesterday....he feels that he keeps making a fool of himself, "silly things really "but massive to him" and his nerves are getting the better of him. We had a good chat last night and I'm hoping he feels better this morning. Its his first week and he is still finding his feet, also he has been wrapped in this little world at home for along time, he felt a little better later, I am hoping he just needs time to adjust.......................
He is in Uni all day today and I'm feeling bit helpless, I am going to keep myself and my mind busy today, check out a few charity shops, curtain hunting....then second coat of paint for walls. Oh and a mountain of ironing.
Heating on again this morning...winter creeping in.
