Wish I wouldn't dwell on things in life, and try to stop turning into this people pleaser…. I don't like myself at all when this happens....I am really the world’s worst, my gravestone will read she dwelled her life away...after trying to please everyone . Had mixed evening last night, no win but had good laugh with my D sis and niece, whom I feel comfortable with...then met up with old sort of friend, I mean sort of friend because at times she made feel like an irritating fly buzzing around her head for the years I knew her....with you know a certain look, comments etc. I thought because it has been a few years since I had seen her, I would cope ok.....but things went badly, mainly because of my confidence issues or lack of them and her reaction to me. Why do people set out to make other people feel so awkward....I don't get it!!. Every time I bump into her I feel like jumping through the nearest exit....she makes me feel so uncomfortable and on edge that I always try to overcompensate then make a complete wally of myself in the process, I really turn into a comedy of errors :o:o. I have made a decision that from now on if I ever bump into her, I will politely say hello and no more than that. Thing is I know she has this stern aura around her, she practically radiates it.... but I still try far too hard!....this I am going to work on as I cant make everyone like me and why do I care that they don't, I am so blooming annoyed with myself. I know this is supposed to be a debt diary but needed to have a major sound off. Silly I know but has affected me this morning and I feel my confidence has had a major knock so feeling very low :( .
Now I am going to move on with my day and in my mind will blast this person with previous bad memories of this person as far into space as possible lol...........................
Now much more importantly onto my debts which have been static in some time, but main thing, they haven’t crept up, an achievement for me :).
Have some items sorted finally and have been given some free listings, so will use this evening :)

Spent 3 hours ironing whilst joiner was laying floor, so productive day really.
Managed to pay £15 off my CC every little helps.

  • Sounds like a good day — even though it involved ironing! ;) Floors are good investments imho, since you use them every day. Glad youike the result.

  • Thank you ABA, feels good to be able to splash out once in a while.....now back to tightening the purse strings again
Keep up the good work ABA.,I have read your diary and it really pulled at my heart strings, I can totally relate to your problems, especially the depression and confidence issues, I am almost 50 and still working on my confidence. I also have a lovely 21 year old son who also has suffered with depression and still struggles with his confidence, this spans back to school and mainly caused by bullying. Keeping a diary gives you a chance to share problems or even just to have a good moan....does me the world of good, and keeps me focused. I also have a lovely doggy, my westie .... she is my little rock....animals are not cruel you see and don't judge you and always there to listen even if they don't have a clue what you might be babbling on about. Good luck with the goals you have set out to achieve I am sure you will do brilliantly :D:D I will pop back now and again to say hello and see how you are doing x

Gives me an extra massive £50 month to pay off debt :D
Also will be looking into house and life insurance after offer from my bank giving £50 cash back on each if I change......something to consider, should really try to get my DD down

Could feel the cold this morning, have put my heating on for an hour before everyone leaves the house. Has got me thinking about future chilly days, so I am going to be watching my usage like a hawk over the coming winter months. I hope to make a repeat of last year, even if it does mean following my DS and OH around the house flicking off lights etc considering they find it such hard work lol. After all…. it has proved to have worked last year with my surprise of being in credit, compared to the year before.
Off to town today after work but will only be buying essentials, have promised DS a maccy considering we received money off vouchers from W.Smithys….so £2 each can’t be bad.
Might also treat DS to a new T-shirt for Uni, he starts a week on Tuesday….I am so proud of him.
Managed to scrape another £5 off my CC yesterday….reducing very nicely, well shower and off I go........................................;)
