£20 win at bingo last night so after splitting into 3 gives us a night out for £3 cant beat it.
Off to town this morning, DS received acceptance email from university yesterday....celebrate.... so money will be spent today, well my money will be getting spent today, but although I know DS has pulled a fast one on the poor student speech, I really don't mind giving him a good day out and paying for some new things he is going to need, hair cut at the top of the list.
Will update later on my mortgage input, wont be a much as hoped, but still good amount.
Oh and interest added to CC so not doing as well as I thought as regards to reducing it.... really need to give this some serious thought , make a new strategy with CC and get my head well and truly out of the sand....

£200 paid into mortgage account today….over the moon :j, worked out all bill payments and couldn’t believe the money left over and we have another massive chunk to pay off mortgage tomorrow. Love it when I can take big chunks out of my mortgage debt instead of crumbs here and there, even though those crumbs add up. OH has done really well financially this month and I have worked over as much as possible. This combined with watching every penny, using food from back of cupboard and freezer, cutting out weekly expensive pub meals, making sandwiches, some fab sales on Teabay and plumtree and even buying cheaper brands from soap powder to making molly’s doggy food myself, which I must say she prefers as she is getting leaner meat….all this combined last few weeks and financially it is really giving results. I don’t think I will have this amount to throw at my mortgage every month, but who knows…..
Did spend £50.00 on DS today but must say that is quite good as included his hair cut , magazine and lunch. He’s a good kid really not one for brand name trainers and clothing, very happy with primmmark and charity shops, sure would spend hundreds in music and game shops if given the chance. Decided to have a couple of glasses of wine tonight….it was left over from last week so has to be drank before it goes flat well that’s my excuse………….:)

    ;)

ARGHHHHH....you know when you get that feeling that things are going to well and then you get that reality slap in the face yep the van broke down this afternoon, mechanic seems to think its the battery now. Then the car as usual joined the van and broke down the other side of town, so I have had to leave it there :mad::mad::mad:
Ouch I don't know how much more cash I am going to throw at these vehicles. To much for one day on a roller coaster highs and lows....
Really feel like getting drunk...but i wont !!
    early night instead:(:(

Quiet morning and good night sleep……………….for a welcome change :)
Paid £5 off CC, still need to pay a large chunk off this nuisance card very soon as forgotten and just noticed I made the balance transfer in two separate transfers and one 0% ends very soon. I do have savings I can get at which will cover this but I am fighting being sensible….I know silly but don’t want to use my mortgage money, I have a few weeks yet to mull this over so will push to the back of my mind for now
    Shower time, early morning start.
House needs a good clean, molly moo needs a walk and have appointment for 8.30 so better make a move.
Mechanic still no were to be found, so lots to do .........................
