Woke up to a dark, dull morning....not so great for bank holiday but I don't mind as long as it turns out to be a calm day, Saturday and Sunday were calmer than usual for a bank holiday so fingers crossed.
My bingo night tonight full £10 cost as no vouchers but sold 2 items online £7 so will pay the majority of my night out
Hoping for a win ….not had a big win for long time.

Done nothing today very annoyed with myself, only managed to undercoat one side of loft door and some frame work....shame on me, will be getting my new laminate delivered next week so really need to shape up, 4 doors left to paint. No point in writing a To Do list today as haven't done anything....well off for a nap very draining doing nothing all day :)

Weather has turned very cool the last few mornings, nearly put heating on then remembered my £190 monthly DD for gas/electric and put my fluffy dressing gown on instead. Off to flea market this morning, then for nice cuppa tea with my D Mama just before work.... finish early today, so hoping to get started on those doors once again. I cant believe how great my hallway is looking, even my old flooring in the hallway doesn't look to shabby now, this got me thinking as to laminate replacement and the £300 cost ...so I cancelled new laminate order, well for now!! ....we will see how end result looks, I can easily re-order if needed. What a buzz I get from getting fab results on such a cheap budget....even decided to try and get all my door handles for less than £30 ....worth a go

  • Dark, wet and dingy this morning, Strange how I enjoy a good rainy morning.
No nightmares last night thank goodness, had 2 nightmares in one night the other night, was so shaky, had to get up for a few hours so glad of a nice restful night.
What a day yesterday turned out to be, paint started to peel from second door, I had tried to take a short cut with the preparation and had not sanded or primed first so my own fault….had to totally strip back, took me hours, what a mess….and oh how my joints hurt this morning….that will teach me to cut corners.
Have put a bid online for some door handles….hoping to get them for £30 or less, anything less than £50 a good result.
Off to do food shop this morning, so no silly spends and sticking to limit a must.
Will update later hoping to have a good To Do list today as soon as these paracetamol start to work on my poor bones……………….
Haven't had no little extras to pay off my mortgage lately, but had extra £5 to pay off CC, will try today if my food shop allows............

  • Oh made a right mess of things yesterday, still working on hallway, painting doors become nightmare, original paint just terrible, wouldn’t cover, peeling waste of £28 mixed satin…. so had to resort to buying one coat gloss extra cost of £15 with the added chemical smell which affects my sinuses. I feel that all my organisation has flown out the window...Hate not being organised, I believe it is definitely something to do with my OCD......
Worse than that… wait for it …. Impulse buy of £280:eek::eek:, Yep I decided I was not happy with old flooring after all, then on the spot bought flooring from a certain story telling outlet, because it looked nice, without reading any reviews…no research at all. Why I don’t know! After research when I returned home have discovered this flooring is crap beyond belief and on phoning this company No Returns (even though the flooring hasn’t even left the shop),:( apparently by paying for it I have entered a contract….so stuck with it. I will have a word with the manager Monday morning but not holding my breath (should have stuck with original order from B&Qey. I am annoyed with myself but just as annoyed with these companies with their rules and regulations, which seem to protect the seller and not the buyer. I could have bought much better quality of flooring for much less. I have come to the conclusion this is my problem, impulse purchases and that has been the cause of my CC debt over the years………something I need to change:eek::eek:
Off to a car boot today, will be looking for some nice bargains to re-sell. On the bright side the bag sold online a few weeks ago actually turned up so £28 good return :D.
Time to get out of my jimjams and get a move on….sun is shining, outside at least....onward and upwards :):)
