morning! Like a lot of people I had forgotten that it was Monday.
Can I take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for all the love, hugs, spoons and posi-vibes that have headed my way since I reappeared last week. I feel truly blessed. Still coming to terms with the news so far in my own way. Now I have a licence to listen to my body (I had previously worked through everything) I am having a regular afternoon nap and I feel a lot better for it.
Still taking life one day at a time here, but managed to change some beds and catch up with laundry yesterday when everyone was out. still got more ironing to do..... that will surprise nobody.
Planning a Barbie here with OH and possibly DS today, and the test match has reached an interesting situation so there will be lots to keep me amused.
Hope everyone has a good day. XX:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning, my plans today are quite simple I think. I need to go to my parents to get weighed (I don't have scales in my house anymore
) I need to nip to Mr T for some bits and then I NEED to do the garden, if I wasn't so embarrassed I'd post a picture
If I'm still alive after that I may do something in the house. I was hoping the girls would help with the garden but DD1 is at the boyfriend's, they're meant to be going out with his family, though she said she's coming back to get weighed. DD2 has a friend sleeping over so I expect they'll be off out somewhere.

Cuppa slurped, OH out of bed.. so I am going to do some more bedroom flingage.. it WILL look like a room if it kills me!! (which it might)

I've just realised there is a new thread each monday!
I kondo'd my books yesterday and have listed 4 on Eb*y but i should have had an offer of 75% off fees but the email wouldnt open and missed the offer as it expired yday - so frustrating!
House is beginning to resemble dare i say "order". After moaning OH helped in the house yesterday by hoovering and a bit of dusting and generally tidying up after himself. He also jet hosed the backgarden. The front paths were done in the 1st bank holiday however... he then went on to paint the garage doors blue, fell off ladder and spilt blue paint on the path which is still there to this day! He looked like papa smurf !!
MW1 done, and towels on the line (not sure how long for as gonna rain)
Just compiling MW2.
Need to iron yesterdays wash
Bedding
S&S
Next to kondo is documents - any advice on this!?
My friend is popping in today - i cringe everytime i see her look around - although it does look and smell nice today - well downstairs :rotfl:
Have a good bank holiday Monday0 -

Many thanks for all the offers of additional spoons and time-stretching vibes. I have made more progress this morning than in the past month. Solutions have been found to two problems, and I am far happier about what I'm trying to do than I was yesterday.
I have also managed to FUPA the dry washing and clear the airers way in the bathroomOff to get my early lunch mow - have to be out at 12.00.
Catch up later x0 -
Two loads of washing on the line, dining room table cleared and then tomato plants finally planted out.
Need to go and visit Mum now before her op tomorrow (DS3 is reluctantly coming along).
Ironing is a must tonight. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks for the list natty and for the lists last week bossy.
I had planned to do so much over the half term holiday but have spent the last two days in bed. I have this fluey type lurgy...I am feeling a bit better today, not quite so achey but still have a headache and sore throat. I hope it doesn't last as long as your's YL and valli:( ds1 has 3 weeks of GCSEs after the holidays so I hope he doesn't get it.
Lunch first then I if I feel up to it may go and tidy the bedroom...that's a lot of ifs and buts:rotfl:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Well done tcal, visible progress is always encouraging
Dare I suggest that the easiest solution is not to let her go upstairs? If you only have the one loo, then make sure it is clean and sparkly and sweet, and close all the other doors upstairs. If she is a real friend she won't open them! And if she isn't, you'll hear what she is doing !
Thanks Ionafan - too late she went upstairs !! - her excuse was to see an outfit i'd bought and she was going to alter - i said i'll just go and get it and she started laughing and said you dont want me upstairs do you and she ran up :rotfl:
oh the shame0
