Well I am hoping for a big fall over the next month. As I am using my maximum allowance buying wincanton shares through a share investment plan at work so the lower the price the better.

Yup - I don't think we're likely to see any further rate hikes now for a while. Should allow the last few rises to sink in, and underpin property prices.0

And who is leading the charge... Northern Rock. Can't say I'm really surprised. Looks like the UK Subprime is going to tumble too. Also noticed Northern Rock are down 50% in 6 months. :eek:0 -
Would now be a good time to put a few hundred quid in one of those ISA's that are tied to the FTSE100?
I'm thinking the same. Its just that awful feeling of how low will it go. I could see it going anywhere at the moment from below 5500 back to 6500 ish.
Probably leave it another week for me.0
