yipee! another (potential) .25 rate increase: great news for savers. i am still looking for fixed-rate bonds that achieve more than 'just' 6.70. seven per cent would be ideal. after a long hard slog, are savers about to be rewarded for all their patience?
edit: it's not quite in the bag yet obviously, but i was actually getting worried there as quite a few of the 6.70 rates have been pulled recently. not sure why
