What small change do you want from the new government?

Food vouchers would be exchangeable for food anywhere, utility vouchers for gas and electric, etc.
At least a voucher system would ensure that children are fed rather than their parents spending the money on cigarettes, alcohol and as recently reported a boob job.
That is typical tory typecasting, I suggest you post on the Daily HeilBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I want martin to have a go at energy companies and to get them to stop making people pay standing charges on gas and electric meters when a property is empty and up for sale, after all the meters are not in use so why do you have to pay a standing charge,i think its a rip off.0

STOP DVLA DOUBLE TAXATION
Force DVLA to refund/charge car tax on a 365 day period, not by calendar month. Example: Your tax expires on 31 July; you sell car on June 2nd, you only get 'complete month' refund (i.e. July's tax) and not the remainder of June. Also, your new car must be taxed for the whole of June. Therefore you have paid tax for June twice.
As the current 'new' system refunds automatically (still not including the month you are in), this is ridiculous. You should get a pro rata refund for the remainder of your period. The digital age does not require tax to run to the end of the month anymore. Surely it can run for 365 days from the point of purchase.0 -

I am astonished in this day and age with automated computerised bank transfers that we still have to wait for a week day for salary or pension payments to clear if are due during the weekend or bank holiday. I suspect some standing order and Direct debit payments fall into this category as well.
Yes: If you owe a company (DD) and it falls on a weekend, it must be 'allocated' (so you can't access it) in your account on Friday. However, if they owe you, you often have to wait until Monday. One rule for one....0 -
Transparent pricing in supermarkets
No more "£0.80 per 100gm" alongside a similar item at "£8.00 per kg". Easy to work out for some, but deliberately confusing for others.0 -
Monetary Reform
Stop banks from being allowed to issue debt. 97% of money is created as debt when banks make loans. This is effectively counterfeiting. It leads to massive mis-allocation of capital. The power to create money should reside in parliament.0 -
Make child benefit eligible based on combined income rather than if just one parent is a higher rate payer
Scrap "service charges" in restaurants or at least ensure that these are in a much bigger font on the bill
Scrap the ability for companies to levy an additional charge for credit card payments
remove sanitary products from VAT0 -
There should be a facility to pay water rates monthly by direct debit in the same way that you can pay Council tax. I have tried paying by standing order but every month I get threats of court action even though the water company has in theory accepted my payment schedule. This proposal is for those households that are non-metered.0

There are millions of unofficial, unpaid carers in this country, looking after loved ones, often giving up lucrative jobs to do so. We are saving the government billions of pounds a year. Yet, you are only eligible for Carers Allowance if you earn less than £110 a week and care for more than 35 hours a week. What is the rate for those 35 hours+? A paltry £62.10 a week. It is time this stopped to be classed a benefit and was paid as a proper wage. Even minimum wage for 35 hours would be more than we get now. Caring is a very demanding JOB, both physical and mental. Yet, the government barely recognises we exist. If we all downed tools tomorrow so the state would have to employ official carers, the cost to the state would be astronomical. It's time carers got some respect and more money! We are not scroungers. We don't want to be classed as on benefits!Reclaimed thanks to this site:
