    What utter rubbish!

It's a windows, icon mouse system just like.......well a PC

There are buttons to open close and resize them.........just like a PC

The operating system is intuitive to use.......just like a PC

If you can use one you can use the other and both have their pros and cons and those depend on what you want them for.

Quite agree, we have Mac and Windows computers and laptops in our house, never have any trouble switching between them.

So I want to print for example ..
I am used to going File-> Print

Oh wait - there is no "file"

I have to learn where this option is.

Which is what my point was

Amazingly there is a file > print command path...

also can press cmd+p on the keyboard just like ctrl+p on windows... I'm on a windows PC at work at the mo, but if i was at home and could figure out how to work my mac I'd screen show the file and print command path for you. Maybe someone on a mac at the mo could do us the pleasure...

If you're so anti-apple why did you even think about posting in the thread?

I was simply pointing out the fact, that the way the OP is used to using their current computer will be different if using a mac.

Jesus you fanbois are touchy ...
(another reason to steer clear of macs and their users or the shop "geniuses" (PMSL))

we're all just pointing out that there arent many differences. The major one for me over standard windows OS is no start menu, and having to use Finder.

my parents have windows 8 and i find the tiled view confusing as i struggle to find what i want, but on my mac i just use spotlight search to open any app thats not on my dock.

but other other than little things there arent many differences, certainly not enough that a good book and few google searches wont teach...

Yes there is right click! Where on earth did you get the idea there isn't?

From the mouse with only one button? :rotfl:

Never used a magic mouse? it is one big button, but recognises where you click on it, so has a right and a left click...

stick with a new PC at half the price
Let's see this all in one PC with the same specs for half the price please...
So I want to print for example ..
I am used to going File-> Print

Oh wait - there is no "file"

At one point in time you didn't know how to print in Windows either and someone had to teach you 'File, Print'.
Guess what, on lots of Mac apps, there IS File, Print! Imagine that, exactly the same place!
Also on your Windows PC, you can press control and P. On a Mac, Command and P. Is that too big a jump?
