    No, I'm seeking genuine advice
Me and my family have always used the same mechanic, I trust him and I know he provides reasonable prices.
Why not use your mechanic and then spend your time getting a new hobby.

BeenThroughItAll, we all know that you've once owned the E36 BMW M3. Have you ever considered the E92 M3 or ever driven one?

that is such a goddamn beautiful car

After so long trolling the forum? You don't deserve any advice, genuine or otherwise.

The best thing you can do, is take car to mechanic, as others said. You don't seem to have much knowledge about cars. I don't have it either, that's why I leave it to someone who does. And as much others can give you good advice, you probably won't find the problem anyway.

Whining sound means it can be anything: wheel bearing, breaks, cupped tyres, some other bearings, gearbox or something else. Good mechanic will take it for a short ride and will be able to tell you what is wrong with your car.

It is undeniably an absolute masterpiece of a car, in its price range. The very last M powered naturally aspirated, highly strung V8 engine, which is a spectacular motor that revs to an astronomical 8300 RPM.

The amazing thing about the E92 M3 is that it's truly an all round. When you please, you could drive like a mad man and have the ultimate driving experience but on the other hand if you just want to cruise comfortable it can do that well too. It's luxury, stylish, offers excellent driving dynamics and thrills and it's explosively powerful. For it's price bracket I cannot think of a car that's more of an all rounder than the mighty BMW M3.

Oh yes, that'll be based on your experience of not owning one, right?

I use my M3 on longer journeys on open roads (when there is no traffic) where I can enjoy the car, mostly in weekends. Half of the time I just go out for the sake of it to enjoy the driving experience, with no destination in mind. I absolutely love that thrill of revving it to 8000 rpm, bullying my way past cars. I feel like a god, it's a huge thrill, roaring past cars, overtaking them, taking sharp turns fast and letting that V8 scream. Rarely, when I'm in my Yaris, I'd see a fast 330i/335i/M3/M5 coming up behind me at an astonishing rate, with its angry, aggressive infamous BMW grilles (occasionally the xeons eyes are on) flying past with that typical BMW aural note. I have seen this throughout my life with the E36/E46 M3's and I knew that I needed to be a part of this.

All of which turned out to be lies.

    Grow up.
