It's unlikely you'll get it back if you left it on the bus- best thing is check with the lost property at their depot.
Now back to the topic, I still have no idea what it is. Every now and when it makes a whistle/creaking sound and when I brake it sometimes make a grinding noise that appears to come from the rear passenger side. I'm almost certain its the brakes. any ideas?0 -

No, thought not.
Hey-ho. At least you can drive the Astra in the meantime.0 -
And have you actually bothered to remove the wheel and have a look? Or take it to somewhere to have a look?
No, thought not.

Or the Toyota Yaris FBO SE. Or the BMW E92 M3. Or the Lexus IS250SE-L. Or the Homer. Or the 1998 Toyota Corolla.
Or indeed, any of the other fictional vehicles which inhabit your fantasy garage.0 -

BeenThroughItAll, we all know that you've once owned the E36 BMW M3. Have you ever considered the E92 M3 or ever driven one?0 -

I will take it to the garage this bank holiday weekend when I have time. Visually, is there a way to check if the discs are warped?0 -
Handbrake sticking on?brakes binding?
take it off and very gently roll the car forward, then feel how it stops, or on a slight downward slope feel how readily it rolls.
Pads down to metal?
anyone's guess at the moment0 -

not easily without taking wheels off. With a flat edge or something, sine you won't have a dti.
otherwise look for any scratches. Look for any blue spots on the disc - this could indicate warping or binding.0 -

No, I haven't. I'm a grown up now, with other priorities than fast cars.
Anyway, back to the original question. Are you admitting to being yet another time wasting, lying, childish, trolling AE of Darkmatter101?0 -
No, I'm seeking genuine advice0
