    Just found this: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/65555091#Comment_65555091

Would a slightly modified version of this letter work? Is it too late now?

Have you understood any of the advice you have been given?

That is a PoPLA appeal, you are dealing with a possible court claim, it is two years old, pre Beavis, it mentions GPEOL, GPEOL no longer flies.

You really need to get a grip on this, if that is beyond you, just pay them off.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Honestly, no, not really. I don't even know what POPLA is. It's very confusing coming in here when you just want the advice you need. I do appreciate the work you guys put into it, but when people speak in acronyms it's hard to know what's what.

Right. But for someone who just wants a simple answer to a simple question, this stuff gets confusing fast.

Anyway, looks like I'm running out of options now.

You are in the pound seats as long as you don't reveal the driver - re read through your thread to see why we keep telling you this!

And forget about ringing them up!!

What makes you think that Contract Law is simple? What makes you think that defending a claim in the County Court is simple?

It is not rocket science, but neither is it colouring by numbers. Either you make an effort, or you get screwed.

You are joking? Have you SEEN how many BW Legal threads are here, all with advice and many of which show links to perfectly good examples of robust responses. NO-ONE phones BW Legal.

This is so easy, all you needed to do was climb off this isolated thread and instead, read others like it! We have far too many already, can't keep repeating ourselves and there is no need, people can search and read the forum. BW Legal threads appear at least every dozen threads, going back pages and pages on this forum! You could read a hundred threads like yours if you wanted to.

One search of keywords like: BW Legal £54 and some reading and you have your reply. You are writing as if you have no options and are in an unusual position but this is THE MOST COMMON thread on here right now!

It is SO SIMPLE. Robustly respond to BW Legal. Just (please) do not ask 'what do I write?'
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
