! I used to work with a lady who'd turn her phone on once a week then see a load of out of date texts come through from friends and would have to call them all back to apologise for missing their messages - all she had to do was keep her blinking phone switched on and everyone would have been happy! :p

I have loads of friends who, even though when I see them their phone is always out and on the table they don't respond to texts and don't necessarily answer calls either!

Always have mine with me but it has to be off whilst on holidays as I refuse to pay the stupid charges, just use it as a camera on holiday in "Flight" mode.

Surely you'd be better off with a small tablet? That's the only issue I have when friends think I'm weird, it's the 'phone' bit that I don't really need and that's what you pay for!

I just got a kindle fire and it cost me £89. Don't even need to insure that!

I've never bothered insuring a phone.

I hate it when I'm with friends and they are constantly on their phones. I don't mind the odd photo pass around or taking pics but I sat there in silence one time while the two friends I was with were checking their dating sites... !!!!!!?????

I was in a pub the other day watching a family of four having a meal. All of them spent the entire time playing with their phones. Apart from ordering, not a word was spoken to each other.

I have never understood why excessive mobile phone usage should be something to feel proud of.

I've always got it on me because if I don't then typically I get an important call and told off for not answering it.

    Bloody phones.
