This is really nothing to get so worried about. Relax, you have now appealed so wait for the rejection letters. These are not real parking tickets so not sure why this is now on post #51. Bog standard appeal was needed as per the NEWBIES thread, nothing was different, these invoices are nothing to get worked up about.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks everyone for their help. I have just received rejection letters for both the appeals. They have sent me POPLA codes for both tickets. Where do I go from here with appealing to POPLA can someone help me or point me in the right direction. Is there another standard letter which can be used, I tried looking but could not find anything.

no, because each appeal is bespoke

you can make up your own draft from examples that others have posted on here, preferably in the last 3 months , then you can attach this as a word doc or pdf as your appeal before the expiry date for each code, one appeal per code, so two in total , even if they are identical, so if you had 10 codes you would submit 10 appeals

Have looked around to find examples for the POPLA appeal for my type of PCN. I cant really find anything to use. Its not a straight forward Pay & Display car park. Having gone back to photograph the signs they read "If vehicle is parked £100 per day or part day or with permission free. I don't really know where to start with this.

dont worry too much about "your type of pcn", find one with not a gpeol , no contract, poor signage etc and work from there

also find any for other universities or colleges and adapt whatever they say too

think outside the box, dont just try to find a perfect match, as you wont find one

start by looking through these for inspiration

I am really struggling with this its so technical. New Generation Parking have sent me a two page letter with my rejection of appeal letter. It starts off saying the following, Detailed below is how we justify the cost of our service to our clients, customer, solicitors and regulatory bodies. In contract law, a breach, once claimed, is dealt with by suing for liquidated damages. These damages must represent a genuine pre-estimate of a loss (GPEOL) incurred. It then goes on and on in technical jargon. How can you fight back a reply when I cant understand what they are saying.

frankly, I dont think we care what they are saying

popla assessors are the ones trained in the legal speak and will assess both sides

you could of course pay a solicitor to understand the legal speak and draft your appeals for you, in a way like the parking companies do

this is how the IAS works when the PPC is in the IPC

you seem to be taking the negative view of "cant do it , its too hard" instead of doing as I asked you to do

you asked for help, I gave it for free and provided links to suitable appeals you can adapt for yourself

we wont do it for you, certainly not for free

you can lead a horse to water.... but ...............

so if its too hard for you, pay PPAL over at parking cowboys to draft the 2 popla appeals, or to do the one and submit it twice, you do have that option, which means paying for somebody that does understand it to do it for you

    good luck
