    Hi All,

I have made two claims just following the guidance given on this site one to EGG and one to Natwest.

I received a letter from EGG on Saturday upholding my claim paying back the full amount plus interest plus 8% total amount received paid off what was still outstanding on the loan plus a cheque for £1933 and some pennies. Total amount paid back was £7265.

My claim was made on the basis that I didn't want or need the insurance as I am a civil servant and get good support when off sick etc. Additionally I filled in the loan application twice the first time without the PPI which was rejected and the second time with the PPI which was accepted, which amounts to being forced to have it.

Just waiting for Natwest now but I suspect they may take the extra 8 weeks. :heartsmil:heartsmil

    Wonder if anyone can help.

I am trying to track my complaint that was put in with Santander re a Debenhams card. I have called their PPI complaints team and they say that Debenhams cards are dealt with by the complaints resolution team in Morley, Leeds. They don't have a number or can give me no way of finding one out. I have tried google but all the numbers I can find are either disconnected or constantly engaged.

    Any one got any advice?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Anthony

    Well done on your success.

Did they actually provide you with a FULL detailed written breakdown?
This should show how it was calculated, for example, on an active loan, the amount of the loan balance if to settle and how they worked out the calculation to actually get to that amount, plus interest etc.
If they have not, the I would ask them to provide these to you, it's your account and tell them you're entitled to this.

You can make sure nothing is amiss, good luck.;)

I posted yesterday to say NRAM have apparently got a query on the amount of my signed offer that was due to be paid last week, and they don't know when they will resolve it. Again use of some of the pay out to clear the arrears was in the offer, but the final amount was lower than what is left on the loan.
I am giving them another day to get back to me - but it sounds a little like NRAM have got a problem with some of their calculations!

I believe that if they made the offer then that is what has been accepted - not a different amount. Time will tell.

    Hi there

you would think they would have the contact details wouldn't you?
But what I would do is ask the FOS on the free phone number as I assume they would have dealt with them many times, and to make sure this is right first time round.
    Good luck.
