    Hi Nanna,

I started my claim last September and has been on hold due to JR as per everyone else's.

Picked up momentum recentley when I started emailing CEO off Di's list.
So keep on mithering them - it seemed to work for me.

    Oh drat! Sorry about that!
Bet its only since the JR then they put a block on emails.

I was otherwise going to suggest you ask the FOS on the general customer line freephone, maybe they will have the details perhaps.x

Right just want to start by saying thanks to afew people on here who gave advice.

It's took a while to get here but i stuck with it as advised.

Right here's the update had a bit of news today by way of a phone call from fos saying the bank of scotland have agreed to settle £2680.

So anybody thinking about doing this just stick with it.It seems a long process but sometimes you can beat these companys that think they are untouchable.

For all starting out on doing a ppi reclaim you could'nt be in a better place the people on here are fantastic and really know their stuff.
That is brilliant :j:j:j well done and congrats :j:j
Everything comes to those who wait ;)

It's taken 6 months but I received a letter yesterday confirming I will receive £1669.98 back for misold Credit Card PPI that was taken out in 1999. I did contactact the Ombudsman but only sent the paperwork back to them last week so suspect MBNA have coughed up without intervention. Very happy and thanks very much to Martin and this site, I find it invaluable. :T:T:T

some more updates for you both from egg loan and santander regards burtons menswear account

phoned egg this morning as it will be 8 weeks tomorrow and i havent heard anything since the four week letter spoke to a very nice woman who informed me that a 8 week notice letter had been sent out today to say they needed more time however (not sure if she was supposed to tell me) but she said there was a note on her system that a cheque had been issued :j but it would take 7 to 10 working days to get all the right people to give it the go ahead and authorise it before they could send it out so thats some good news she said i could take it to the fos but she said to wait a bit longer if i could which was nice of her

santander not so good well some thing and nothing really i have been waiting for a phone call from the woman dealing with my complaint for about 4 weeks and heard nothing so decided to chase them up regards my case as as it stands at the momment they gave me 4 weeks to come up with proof that i was in full time education when taking out the store card and i didnt have a partner so couldnt benifit from the bread winner policy, well the four week dead line is up and i havent had my sar request come back yet from hm revenue and customs,i did send them all of my college certifcates to show i was a student during the dates of taking out the card and asked the lady if she had received them she said oh yes (this was back on the 14th of june) i can have a look at them today for you!!! well what on earth has she been doing in the mean time??? i asked her if my case had been closed and she said it hasnt and all i need to do is send her my proof of not paying national insurance back in 1996 to 1998 and she willo be able to deal with it in a couple of days or so she said!!!

i have sent off my hfc acceptence form so should have it refunded into my back soon and have also sent egg credit card my original credit card agreement as evidence that i was paying ppi from the start of the credit card in the hope they will refund me back to 2003 instead of 2006
